Just being nosy really!

Ours currently has on it;
four books, a bobble hat, a pencil sharpener, pot of slime, tv buttons, 2 x drawings by DC, pair of scissors, Monopoly Deal game, claw hair grip, seam ripper, glass of Coke and a glass of water.

I was just sat thinking what a random assortment it was! I wondered if others were the same....

Right now: coasters.

However this is because we have the neighbours coming round later. When I finished work earlier this afternoon it was

6 packets of seeds
paperwork for insurance renewal
2 piles of late FIL's CDs
small pot of brick-coloured filler
sample card for brick-coloured fillers
delivery notes for the pot and the sample card
delivery note for the seeds
envelope for the sample card
jiffy bag for the seeds
(the jiffy bag for the pot was on the settee, it arrived today)
Tesco magazine
2 pens
shoebox containing old computer disks that we don't have the tech to read right now
bit of paper originally a badly-printed photo of sons and their partners now being used to list possibilities for my puzzle
TV remote
tape measure
...oh, and coasters

just remembered there was also a paper aeroplane (from a box of patterns which we got years ago and used some of by putting them in the Christmas dinner crackers)

I use mine to display tranklements so-

I love making little displays in the house, I'm sure it's from the nature table at school and then childminding.

Oh and I've dumped my new book Scoff by Ben Vogler and some cookbooks on the edge... must move them.

A hat from a toy and the baby monitor - partner putting baby to bed. In about 10 mins when she's asleep there will be two cuppas on it too!
Used to have more clutter - coasters, a couple of candles, but little one means things are now out of reach!

Cotton bud (what that is doing in the fruit bowl is a mystery)

A vase of flowers, photo in a frame, diary and pen, remote controls, 5 coasters, incense burner and lighter. Sun streaming in so I can see there's also dust!
