Just being nosy really!

Ours currently has on it;
four books, a bobble hat, a pencil sharpener, pot of slime, tv buttons, 2 x drawings by DC, pair of scissors, Monopoly Deal game, claw hair grip, seam ripper, glass of Coke and a glass of water.

I was just sat thinking what a random assortment it was! I wondered if others were the same....

Since seeing this thread I’ve been moving stuff off it each time I leave the room.

Getting clearer of crap but will never be Instagram pic worthy!

Since the German shepherd crashed through it and broke the legs off a few years ago we don't have one. I'm waiting till the kids don't require the floor space for toys before replacing it.

We don’t have one but on the footstool is a basket with the remote controls and a box of tissues in.
The tv unit has a pair of scissors and the Lego model dd made before school this morning.
One side table has four coasters and a pen, the other has a lamp, a vase, a reed diffuser, another box of tissues and two coasters.

DGDs sippy cup, a cardboard box with two teddies in it that have been put to bed and an empty mug.

Don't have one. We did have 2 and while it was never an issue with DD DS liked bumping his head on everything so I removed them. They are 20 and 16 now and I have never missed the tables so didn't put them back. I find that if I have a surface it gets covered in junk so the best way to be tidy is not have anywhere for people to dump stuff.

Got rid in a bid to be tidier. We are a bit I suppose, but crap just ends up on side tables, lol. Currently on the side table there is copy of Vogue, and three books I haven’t read yet, so not bad I guess!

Our coffee table is shoved off to the side of the tv stand, we moved house and it is now a big too big for the space...however, it still has half a jar of pistachios, a small bowl full of sweets, lollipops, and a small pack of Hotel Chocolat chocolates (left over from Christmas), a teddy bear and a box of Kleenex.

The TV stand has a candle, a pint glass of water, 4 coasters, an Xbox controller and a Lego figure.

Looking to get something smaller to fit into the space better.

Some Little Greene paint charts from a forgotten mission to strip and paint the kitchen cupboard doors (yellow), an edition of National Geographic Traveller, a little ceramic creature that might be a frog, and my son’s reading folder.

An empty yellow Ikea kids plate that had strawberries and blueberries on it for my 2 year old

Okay...a cup of water, my glasses, my meds, a box of co-codamol, Naproxen, wethers original, packet of cookies, olbas inhaler, light up cubes (kids toy), 4 coasters, my bank card, a wooden cat ornament, a photo of out puppy, some stimming toys, 3 random seashells, a wax melt, some fake leaves, a random piece of cardboard that the puppy chewed up earlier aaaaand a plant pot.

Yes I'm logging off and going to go tidy up 😂

3 bottles of water, 2 tv remotes, the kids pens and pencils from doing their homework, a Yankee candle, cup of coffee and Nivea lotion. I need to tidy up a bit 😂
