What i find utterly bewildering (complete revulsion of the man aside) is that he seems so utterly shit at any level of making productivity improvements apart from sackng people - he seems to have no track record or expertise in delivering any results in this area at all. When he did this at Twitter he broke it. His other companies were all about delivering innovative products not efficiency. I work for a very large global corporation that is rather obsessed with efficiency (and doesvery well as a result) - why people bleat on about him as if he is some sort of super powered management consultant extraordinaire is just bizarre .

I see his approach is evolving since his previous e-mails sacking employees. This the unnecessarily nasty shit workers received before:

We could do with the same in this country. Cancelling all foreign aid (as Musk has done) would put £2,300 on all basic rate tax payers allowances and help hard pressed families but no one in our feeble government has the balls to actually take tough decisions that benefit the people here..
