Sorry i wasn't clear.

I mean now, with everything going on right now. Where would you live if you had a choice?

NC44 · 20/02/2025 13:32

Assuming I could pick up the language, Italy.

Badbadbunny · 20/02/2025 13:32

Germany or Austria

FireandRain23 · 20/02/2025 13:33

Italy

trainermush · 20/02/2025 13:33

I would say leave the UK if you can 😆

GiantRoadPuzzle · 20/02/2025 13:34

Singapore. And I did at 25.

LaPalmaLlama · 20/02/2025 13:34

Kind of depends what your specific interests are really. I don’t believe there’s a “one best” country. Would also depend on visa requirements - decent education doesn’t necessarily mean skills on skills shortage list. I’d say London is still a good place to spend your twenties. Both DC fancy Australia and want to do engineering at Uni so maybe that will happen for them. I think there are also some quite good opportunities in emerging SE Asia and Africa if you fancy an adventure.

username299 · 20/02/2025 13:34

Depends what you're into. Partying - Spain. Money - Dubai. Excellent standard of living - Denmark. Chaos - the States. Food - Italy.

Bluebellwood129 · 20/02/2025 13:34

The UK

menopausalfart · 20/02/2025 13:34

The happiest country on Earth, Finland.

ErrolTheDragon · 20/02/2025 13:37

My DD and her BF are 26/27, they seem happy to be in the U.K.
As engineers they'd be paid more in some other countries but they've both got jobs they love and a good social life so no strong motive to look elsewhere.

Adamante · 20/02/2025 13:38

UAE.

I would say leave the UK if you can 😆

but to where, that's the question? Some formerly attractive countries are having woes of their own at the moment.

JasmineAllen · 20/02/2025 13:39

I'd stay in the UK because this is where my closest family and friends are.

If I had no close family and friends then western Canada for the landscape.

ssd · 20/02/2025 13:42

Interesting. They are in London just now, living the dream I hope

OP posts:
ssd · 20/02/2025 13:43

But paying extortionate rent of course...and saying often how bad the uk is...

MadameSzyszkoBohusz · 20/02/2025 13:44

New Zealand, maybe? Far enough away from the current madness, but less hot than Australia.

Maddy70 · 20/02/2025 13:44

Being fluent in ten language of the country is the most important part. Then you can find where suits best
