What things took you far too long to realise was a, erm... "thing"?

Sorry for awkward title!

I never realised until a couple of years ago (I'm 52 😳) that at the ends of the tubes of foil, clingfilm etc, there are two little tabs you push in to "hold" the roll when you pulled it.

What other "things" can you teach this old dog?

Years ago we were told it was North east west south.

On parking signs what no return in 2 hours meant. I thought it meant if you stayed for two hours (over the parking time) your car would be towed. DS1 explained that one to me.

Ahhhaha, I actually always was taking turns I just never clicked that's what they were referring to. I mean both left and right lanes have to turn the wheel slightly in order to get in single file and I thought that manoeuvre was the turn in question. I'm a fool I know 🤣

It's tge best thing eber- easy to swill the sink out or direct spary onto a pan that might be too big for the sink. I often use mine off the hook to fill buckets on the floor.

I used to think it was "in the turn" as I'd only ever seen it in a curved slip road ...so thought all merging had to happen on the bend / "the turn" ...not turn by turn 😂

The worse parents allow their child to have a picnic tea watching TV whilst just chilling and switching off from the world..I think it’s good for children to have time out,as long as it’s only for a couple of hours every day.
