I'm browsing the homeswapper website in bed next to dd who is on her tablet

Catching up on eastenders

Got my new freezer today - already dented it trying to move it into the kitchen 🙄🙄

Despite the fridge, I'm quite cosy and happy - trying my best to stick to my diet and not eat any of dd's sweets 🤭

Whats everyone doing?

Packing our entire house up ready for moving into our new house on Monday!!

couple of cans of red stripe and a thc edible to get me through it… McDonald’s for kiddo

partner is at work until late :(

Off to play pickleball for a couple of hours in a bit.
Then home to see DH since yesterday evening. Watch some rubbish tv and enjoy not having to work on a Saturday for the first time in over a year, not counting holidays!

The giant pile of ironing that's been staring a me Al week.

Finishing off my book as my New Years resolution was to read a book a month, I've got 120 pages left!

I have a tendency to buy books but not actually read them so I've piled 12 up on my bedside to get through. Current one is Argylle. February's is Witches of Vardo. Partially read last year as it was my 'car' book for when DD was at activities so need to finish that.

Waiting for a takeaway to arrive, getting the kids to bed and then watching love island. Had a crazily busy month so I am over the moon to have a quiet evening at home

Just got back from a nice afterschool play date with 2 DDs. Making a lazy dinner of bacon wraps and having a glass of wine. DH is working a night shift so hoping to get the kids into bed early and then watch some tv.

I don't find Friday nights as relaxing as I used to as I'm self employed so there's no "off" switch anymore.

I've just come back from having a cortisone injection in my knee. I've been told to rest for 48 hours to give it the best chance of working and hopefully putting me out of the excruciating pain I've been in due to severe osteoarthritis. I'm therefore spending the weekend in bed. I've got a new jigsaw, some baby knitting, a puzzle book, radio and TV. DH will wait on me hand foot and finger without complaint and I will try to enjoy the reset.

Waiting for takeaway pizza to arrive and half watching House of Games while scrolling on here. Will probably watch a movie with DD later. I love the feeling of Friday nights with the working week/school over!

I’ve just got home from work so I’m going to have a long, hot bath and get into my pyjamas! Dinner is fish cooked with tomatoes and chorizo with rice and mixed peppers.

I should do some uni reading, but I’m probably going to get cosy and find something to watch instead.

Red stripe was my go to as a teen skater. That's a nice flashback

Not working!! I've got the lurgy because I've been working far too much, so I am having a light off. DH is home after being away all week for work and DS is working, so it will be nice and chilled out.

Absolutely nothing.

We were all up for 5hrs in the night with my stepson, who apparently fancied sleeping for 2hrs at bedtime then 2hrs just before school.

He’s at his mums tonight, so it’ll be takeaway and very early night here!

Currently at a hotel in Manchester about to head to the Kublai Khan gig for my DS's 17th birthday. 5ft, 39 in 2 months and haven't been near a mosh pit since I was 17 myself so wish me luck... I've got a feeling I'm going to need it.

Waiting for our Indian take away to arrive, DS on iPad, DH watching tv, me scrolling on here. Once I've had food I will have a long soak in the bath and a very earlier night as for some unknown reason I'm really tired today.

The first load of weekend washing is on.

And I'm trying to decide if to pay a subscription for OLD. I'm 60, ds will leave for university in 18 months, and leave a huge hole in my life. I thought I might give it a try.

Im 33 and have been single for ages! So scared to get back out there but even if I don't meet anyone, getting dressed up and going to lovely restaurants will be fun!

It's just me and dd so i can imagine how you'll feel - but he'll still come back to you! x

Then I'll clear up.
Then I'm going to either slob in bed watching my recorded programmes or sort out my clothes drawers, as I can't actually shut them !

I'm about to put DS to bed, then I'm going to have a beer and watch some telly. Been a long painful week (had a fall) but today I'm barely aching at all so celebrating. Then I'll go read in bed, rereading the Call the Midwife books at the moment.

Dcs on their tablets they have just finished playing lego / playdoh and playing ' schools' and eating their tea.
They will have a wash and pj's soon. When I get off my ar&e to sort them.

I'll then do our tea, dh will do books bed for dcs.

Then we shall relax with a movie.

Oh and I need to empty the tumble dryer

Dh and dd going to pils for a bit
Older dd off to London to see bf for the weekend
It's been a shitty week in a shitty month, so I'm glad to see the back of January
Once everyone's gone, I'm going to watch tv and possibly have a drink 🍸
