Can anyone recommend me a good comedy series to watch?

Just that really, I’m stuck at home at the moment and would love to watch a good comedy.

i have watched and enjoyed
The Big Bang theory,
Black Books,
Parks and rec,
Red Dwarf,
Bottom,
Green Wing,
Friday Night Dinner

along with a few others. Any recommendations.

I'm not going to repeat any of the excellent suggestions you've already had but (and I might well be in a minority here) I really find "Two Pints of Lager and Packet of Crisps" hilarious. I wish I could erase my memory and watch all the episodes for the first time again.

30 Rock - has nobody else mentioned it? If you like Parks and Recreation you'll like this. It's on ITVx.

Also, if you like musical numbers as part of the comedy you'll love Crazy Ex Girlfriend (brilliant and unique show) also on ITVx, and Schmigadoon on Apple TV. They both do very funny send ups of different music genres, often quite catchy too.

I’ve been watching Brooklyn nine nine and just started Superstore, enjoying both, they have great characters.

Superstore is such an underrated show. It was a delight from beginning to end.
