Any Laurel and Hardy or PMQs.
They are both quite similar.

Given your list, definitely Arrested Development!

Motherland. Superb.

Here We Go on BBC is brilliant. Alison Steadman is great as the granny. It’s got your fella from Ghosts in it too.

Ted Lasso on AppleTV I find very funny and also quite sweet and life affirming. It’s my comfort show.

The Job Lot on Netflix is a recent favourite. Set in a Black Country job centre.

The Wrong Mans is good

The Office the US version. It can be found on Netflix.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt - This show makes me very happy. I have to pause it sometimes to take in all the jokes and compose myself. Also on Netflix.

Early doors
The Mrs Merton Show
Derry Girls
All oldies but goodies

I'm so pleased someone mentioned early doors. It's a little known comedy for some reason but the writing is absolutely superb. It's one of the greats I think!

Camping (not the American version). It's Julia Davis so the humour can be a bit yuk but I think it's really funny.

Oh I do wendolino

Highly recommend Our Flag Means Death, currently on iPlayer. It's from some of the same team as What We Do In The Shadows. Funny and beautiful but give it at least 4 episodes to see the bigger picture.

Mainly commenting to see other recommendations as I'm nearing the end of my current binge series!
Already been mentioned but Ted Lasso 100% the best comedy series I've watched in years, even my OH who only likes documentaries usually loved it.
Modern family is my comfort show that I put on in the background if I need something to put on.
This Country is just brilliant, Am I being unreasonable by Daisy Cooper was also great and I'm hoping for another series.
Peep show, a classic but I love it.
Still Game, another comfort one as a Glaswegian I could probably dictate every episode word for word I've seen it that many times. Two Doors down is another Scottish one.
Recently watched The Office. Extras, Derek and Afterlife. All great.

I'm currently rewatching Scrubs as an adult (I was 11 when it initially aired) and loving it. I did watch it when I was younger but didn't appreciate a lot of the jokes and deeper messages.
