Thanks for the suggestions, I’ve also watched a few of the ones mentioned. What we do in the shadows got me through a bought if Covid last January.

Also loved Motherland, I might have to re watch Coupling not watched it for years.

I’ve caught the odd episode of Brooklyn 99, was funny will look that one out and the other suggestions that I’ve not watched before.

thank you.

Coupling is my absolute favourite show ever! (well bar the godawful series 4 which I watched at the time and swore never again) I have them all on DVD and watch at least once or twice a year - almost 25 years since it was first broadcast but it never stops being funny!

Always sunny in Philadelphia is really funny. You need to give it a few episodes to get into it properly.

The Cleaner (with Greg Davies - first series has Rik Mayall)

Man Down is brilliant - its just so ridiculous - also Greg Davis and has Rik Mayall (just before he died).

Fisk on Netflix. 2 series about an Australian late- 40-something lawyer whose life implodes and she ends up working for a slightly down at heel suburban probate firm in another city. Great ensemble cast, very funny. Third series is ready to drop sometime soon - very excited!

I’m definitely going to have a re watch. There was a series I watched years ago and I rewatched it a few times but I can’t for the life of me remember the name of it. It was three friends who shared a flat and one was agoraphobic and never went outside. I wish I could remember as I loved it and probably haven’t watched it for 20 years.

I started watching Ghosts with the DC. Thought it would be rubbish but it’s actually really funny and very well done. We’re all, including DH, really into it now.

It is very funny but I also found it quite dark, the level of his anger.

I enjoyed Trying on Apple+ about a young couple trying for a family - all about their friends and family too. 4 series!

I think you're talking about Game On, OP!

I 100% agree with:

The US Office.
The Good Place.
Fleabag.

Parks and Rec is also good in a gentle humor kind of way.

WanderingDreamingSpires · 21/01/2025 12:25

Call my agent on Netflix. Subtitles but so much better than the English version.
We just watched Hacks on Prime and I've not laughed so much in ages, best thing I've watched recently.
