I have never held a violin in my life but I am completely certain that if I had one in my hands I could play the theme tune to Black Beauty with a virtuosity that would make lifelong musicians weep with envy.

Please don't tell me why this might not be possible.

I agree about the lottery tickets: I tend to buy a ticket when the Euro millions are making multiple people millionaires, thinking this gives me better odds(no logic involved!). I am a bad loser and have to remind myself exactly what a lottery means! But am still cross when I don't win!

One day soon I'll be singing loudly out of my car window in traffic and I'll get discovered by a producer or talent scout. I'll either perform on The Voice Switzerland, or I'll be a niche act on Eurovision between the performance and the votes. I'll sing a meaningful folk song in both Welsh and Swiss German and the Swiss nation will fall in love with me.

I'll be offered a record deal and I'll donate half of the profits to Swiss charities, due to my generosity and outlook I'll get given nationality.

I do this too! I've got it all worked out in my head. I particularly fantasise about opening a museum about the local area with a fantastic farm shop/cafe/community centre attached suitable for retirees and young children alike, and reopening the closed leisure centre. If only someone would give me a few hundred million, I could really solve all the problems in my little corner of the world!

Despite never putting pen to paper I am often convinced that one day I will be a successful author!

I loved Johnny Depp years ago. I was always completely convinced he’d fall in love with me if he met me. And I genuinely believed it.

An acquaintance of mine is a great friend of Ruth Jones and I have spoken to her via a zoom book group. She was really lovely and so down to earth. I remain utterly convinced that Ruth and I could have been great friends if we had met in normal circles and she wasn't a national treasure.

I can play the violin and flute pretty well, and sing in a semi-professional choir.

I can of course ski, like a pro at 36 with no prior experience.

I can fly a helicopter, because I do it in my dreams all the time. Ditto horse riding.

I get practically offended when I don't win the lottery, cos, it has to be someone and I've a good a chance as everyone else....so Why Not Me!?

I am also an awesome backing singer, I love singing, have a total panic attack of getting on a stage in front of people. But I'd be soooo good at it, I just know.

This sounds so superficial but ...

I am always convinced that I could look like any of the tall, slim models wearing amazing clothes all over the internet, that if I just buy them, I took will be in my 20s, 6' tall, slim, graceful with swishy hair. So I buy them.

And then I look in the mirror and cannot understand who this 5'2", slightly dumpy middle aged woman with frizzy hair looking back at me, while wearing clothes that don't fit is. And send them back.

Every. Fucking. Time.
And yet, I still believe.

I feel like I could win any reality TV show, based on having watched them.
Definitely the apprentice (despite having no business experience)
Probably Hunted (Just remember not to use the cash points)
Maybe even Alone (I can't even kill an ant)

That I am actually a blue blooded royal Princess and I was accidentally swapped at birth so have never fulfilled my HRH birthright, I cut ribbons beautifully and make excellent inane small talk with complete strangers, it’s in the blood you see 👸
