How quickly after meeting did you marry or have a child?

And if it was really quickly are you still together? We were engaged, married and had a child born within the first year 😮 didn’t seem crazy at the time but definitely would in today’s world.

I got pregnant the first time I had sex. Still together over 20 years.

Met in 2004, broke up in may 2006, got back together 3 months later, pregnant by April 2007. Still together now 🫠 2 dc

Engaged after 9 days
Married within the year
No dc as we both already had

Engaged 8yrs after meeting
Married 9yrs after meeting
Then TTC for 12yrs- lost 3 and no living children
Together 23yrs now and still very happy. We now have a dog! 😊

6 weeks was similar to us and similar amount of time together
it was a very different time I think, and yes I can see the marriage thing from both sides. Until I met my husband I wasn’t bothered whatsoever about marriage and day to day I don’t ever really think about it! We had a tiny wedding, more of a formality.

Pregnant after 5 months 😬. That was 23 years ago. Still together but not got around to getting married yet

Met at 17 , engaged at 18 , 5 months later .
Married 14 months months after that at 19 . First baby aged 21 .
Divorced 14 years later .

Met age 30, married after 2 years, first child 2 years later, but didn't live together until a year after marriage. Coming up 22 years married, stronger than ever.

If it was you who wanted to divorce (or joint) may I ask When did you realise you’d possibly made a mistake and wasn’t happy? I do wonder sometimes there have been many times I’ve questioned how quickly we established a life together (mostly after an argument etc) but usually that feeling has passed

Met when I was 19, never engaged, married at 25, first baby at 28. Now married for a very long time!

Met at 22/26 (me/him), engaged after 6.5 years, married at 7.5 years, first kid at 10 years and just had our second at 12 years.

We got married 13 months after meeting. We had a baby a few years later.

Moved in after 4 months together, got married about 18 months after that and we had our first child straight away.

We have been together for 15 years in total and still very happy.

Moving in with him after 4 months may have seemed hasty but I had gone through enough shit men to know that this one was a keeper.

Engaged at 3.5 years, baby at 9 years, married at 10.

Moved in together after 5 years, married after 11 and had a child after 12. We were 19 when we met. Been together 23 years now.

Married after 3 years of meeting, first child after 11 years of marriage. Together so far 25 years

Met I was 27 him 25. He moved into my rental flat 3 months after first date proposed a year after first date married 9 months later. First baby 18 months later.

Engaged after one year, married after two, three kids very close together. So married with 3 kids within 5 years, seems crazy fast now but at the time it didn’t seem it. Together 19 yrs now still going strong, if I had my time over again I wouldn’t change a thing.

Very similar. 11 years together then married, 3 more years then baby 1 after marriage.
