Who have I just seen?

I just saw a familiar man walking into The Ritz. He was warmly welcomed on the door by a member of staff.

I've seen him on TV a few times, but can't think who he is!

Rather rotund!
Curly, grey hair
Bon viveur type

Are you sure he’s an actor? Sounds like that famous barrister, who’s name escapes me.

I always confuse the names Callow and Cadell, the latter Simon was in Hi Di Hi and died quite young.
