Who have I just seen?

I just saw a familiar man walking into The Ritz. He was warmly welcomed on the door by a member of staff.

I've seen him on TV a few times, but can't think who he is!

Was he wearing a red velour type suit? With a white fur trim? Did he wear a matching hat? Oh, and a big shiny belt round his round tum? Was he carrying a sack over his shoulder, did he say ‘ho, ho, ho’ as he entered the Ritz?
