Who have I just seen?

I just saw a familiar man walking into The Ritz. He was warmly welcomed on the door by a member of staff.

I've seen him on TV a few times, but can't think who he is!

What is the Ritz like OP ? Is it full of terribly wealthy people in designer clothing and lots of celebrities ?

Asking as an Australian stuck inside during 40 degree heat wearing t shirts and grateful for my air conditioned house in suburbia. Rivers, beaches and no famous people these school
holidsys - maybe a footballer’s wife. The idea of a Christmas all warm and cosy in London with iconic hotels and department stores and cobbled streets, seems like another world.
