Who have I just seen?

I just saw a familiar man walking into The Ritz. He was warmly welcomed on the door by a member of staff.

I've seen him on TV a few times, but can't think who he is!

Late 50s
Rather rotund!
Curly, grey hair
Bon viveur type

Any ideas?
