It has on the welsh coast. Im 3 miles from the sea and 1000ft above sea level. And its already rough.

pie and chips for tea, few glasses of port and the stove is already lit.

Did you just get the screeching alert to your phone for red weather warning? Nearly jumped out of my skin 😮 Seems they've upped it from yellow earlier then!

Windy and rainy but nothing special in the midlands just outside Sheffield we're in an amber zone.

Snow weather warning in my part of Scotland and then wind after. Looks to be mild compared to south England.
So far we have a bit of drizzle.

We just got our very first phone emergency alert message. It freaked us out. Due to properly hit around 3 am. At present, it is very mild wind and a bit of rain. We are very close to the Uskmouth. It is meant to go up Bristol Channel.
We had bins shot across the street and the recycling being carried away (including glass jars and cans!) and fence pannels broken in the past. I think it will be similar.

Just the same sogginess with a stiff breeze we've had for the past 2 nights here in the Northeast. It reaches us properly tomorrow lunchtime and while we're only predicted 60+mph gusts they're coming from the North so it'll be blinking cold.

South Birmingham here…. Little bit of rain, definitely really cold but the wind hasn’t picked up yet so hoping it stays that way.

I'm In the red zone in Somerset. Nothing here yet but the government warning thing went off on my mobile.

In the Red Zone in North Somerset and a mile from the coast. We've cancelled plans for tomorrow, got a snack shop in and charged everything.

I’m in the red zone on the South Wales coast. It’s blowin a hooley outside!
My house was built from cardboard and pipe cleaners in the 1970s, so hopefully it won’t blow apart as we sleep.
We’ve cancelled our planned trip to Bath tomorrow, unsurprisingly.

I'm in Bristol. It's pouring with rain but still calm. Phones have issued a warning though. I'm working tonight and will be driving home in the worst of it I think.

DH got an alert. I disabled it many months ago!

Also got that alarm. Scared the life out of me🤣
