Looks like he's already deleted that insta post? I can't see it... Said lawyer's smashed avocado lying untouched while he frantically tries to undo the damage. To quote Maya Angelou, when someone tells you who they are, believe them!

Just heard a second clip in which he says - do you know how many women in 20 years of me doing Masterchef have made sexual comments or used sexual innuendo towards me?

Keep digging, Greg 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have no doubt there have been many occasions where he THOUGHT a woman was making an innuendo or flirting. I hate it when men take something sexual from nothing Confused

Also, considering the BBC mostly employs those from the middle class it's no surprise where the complaints might be from. This is really making my head explode from rage which is what he wants unfortunately.

SockQueen · 01/12/2024 09:20

So, the women who are in a secure enough position financially and socially, and are old enough to have developed the balls to call this shit out, then? Doesn't mean other women are happy with it, just might not feel able to speak up.

RebeccaDecember · 01/12/2024 09:21

Come on people, you are all missing what’s important here.. it’s GregG Wallace.
😂

AgnesX · 01/12/2024 09:22

He really ought to keep his mouth shut.

However, does he have a point? Is it being blown up out of proportion because I can't imagine Marcus Waring or Monica putting up with that kind of behaviour.

I'm not condoning his behaviour btw, he may be obnoxious (and there are plenty of those in every workplace) but why is this only coming out now?

Pinkissmart · 01/12/2024 09:22

Sadly, the BBC will probably reward him with a new show

His lawyer’s Sunday breakfast has just been ruined 😀

I had the same thought!

It’s already been broadcast by R4 so 😜 to him

Simonjt · 01/12/2024 09:22

And his response surprises absolutely no one

MidnightPatrol · 01/12/2024 09:22

What an absolute twat.

So his full name is GreGGory?! 🤣

Privateschoolviews · 01/12/2024 09:23

Yes, women of a certain age (read peri and/or menopausal) who are fed up mens shit and have enough financial independence to challenge him.

Prick

MidnightPatrol · 01/12/2024 09:24

Also - is he implying this is about class?

Lwrenn · 01/12/2024 09:24

As a woman in her 30s who was raised in bootle, Liverpool, I can assure gregg I’m not middle class in the slightest.
I also find him a misogynistic, deplorable, wee gobshite.

WooleyMunky · 01/12/2024 09:24

Next year's I'm A Celebrity in his sights...

PotOfViolas · 01/12/2024 09:24

What a twat

Conniebygaslight · 01/12/2024 09:12

I think it’s the opposite tbh, I hope I’m right and you’re wrong.

Its not just beastly unreasonable women who are mad though. Some of them have husbands who are also Not Happy. Case in point - Rod Stewart a MAN!!!! Who has apparently been nursing his grudge against Gregg Wallace for years. So I agree, I don't think trying to make himself a victim of middle aged women/feminist misandry is going to work in this case.

pinkdelight · 01/12/2024 09:10

Trying to line himself up as a hero for men who hate us. Depressing but probably his best career move at this point.

I think GB News will be waiting for him with open arms, alas...

TheDogsMother · 01/12/2024 09:25

Those middle class women of a certain age are probably a very large chunk of his MC audience. Well done Gregg 🙄

In case he ever reads this, and it irritates him...

You are part of a culture that is condoning his behaviour.

RenoDakota · 01/12/2024 09:25

Can't stand Gregg Wallace and think he is a creepy, misogynist prick.
But ... I gave up watching Bake Off because of the constant, stupid, puerile sexual innuendo. Why is that not subject to the same scrutiny?

Ohh, aye, us working class salt of the earth women would never take offense at sexual harrasment. We take it in the well meaning spirit it was intended. As demonstrated on the docu-drama that is Carry On Films
