Looks like Trump could win?

It's looking good for Trump. My dad is a total Trump hater and has been convinced that he won't win, especially since Kamala took over.
I don't know how the system works but is it too early to say that Trump is going to win?

Wanted Harris to win but have always suspected it would be Trump.
Worse still no doubt, i think this will give Johnson hope of making a political comeback in the UK...

Absol awful thought !

I'm not 100% sure but I think a president can only serve 2 terms. But given that the Republicans will control both the Senate and the HoR maybe he can change that? And then of course there's Vance, who is a whole lot scarier.

You are looking a bit silly here aren't you. It was the Trump imposed judges that overturned abortion laws meaning states could ban abortion. He set it up when he was in power last time.

Trump supporters being thick who would think it

Yeah the point is that it hasn't been amended during the last 4 years, indeed Roe v Wade has been teetering with the Democrats promising a resolution for decades. Never fucking happened though did it.

devilsadvocate77 · 06/11/2024 07:34

@Longma @JoJothegerbil Trump can only do one term. Maximum of 2, whether consecutive or not.

Yes, he can’t run again… he’d truly be senile by then like Biden is now!

Today is going to be the most momumental epic meltdown of the Loonie Left [which I am incidentally historically part of] and I am going to enjoy every last fucking minute of it.

This is your fault the Loonie Left. You went too far, you sterilised and mutilated kids and I cannot wait for them to start coming after you. You need to be in jail.

You DEI merchants selling your divisive racist sexist homophobic bullshit, you need to be ripped out of your comfortable tax funded jobs and let people with actual skills get back on with their jobs. Go pick up a sweeping brush and do something fucking useful.

yes, sadly I have to agree with this.
Everyone who called Trump a nazi put him
back in the White House.
Every cringe celebrity endorsement put him back in the White House.
Every person who called his voters rednecks put him back in the White House.

Trixiefirecracker · 06/11/2024 07:36

Trump is a truly despicable human. I don’t understand how anyone could vote for him after what he has said and done. Awful news.

borntoblossom · 06/11/2024 06:58

Could it be 24 weeks, or up until birth if the baby is disabled, that's the law in the UK

Well I wondered that, hence requesting clarification. I do think abortion rights need serious revision in the USA - but it's not an issue that alot of people will vote soley for.

He has his successors lined up.

Trump pretended he was joking when he told a Christian rally that if they voted for him this time they’d never need to worry about voting again. I don’t think he was.

What the USA needed was a strong candidate with actual policies.

Not a man with dementia that got so ill he had to step away and let them push the nearest person when he sat down to the front of the room.

Of all the people in the USA, that was their only choice. They deserve this for not having anyone of merit available to take them forward.

His ‘speech’ is nonsense. He can't string a message together. Rambling, bumbling, embarrassing.
