I remember how well that went when President Obama extended a similar courtesy to President-Elect Trump. Trump and Melania were so rude and ignorant. He is despicable and deplorable. And yet he is President-elect again. I'm losing my mind. Sorry about the melt-down.

DH and I have just started watching Slow Horses (very late to the party!) and have to keep pausing it every 10minutes to talk something through or explain something to each other! We're obviously not cut out to be spies 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

Tried to get into Kaos on Netflix, didn’t hate it just felt a bit meh.

Can I also recommend Task Master if you want something stupid and lighthearted but that is weirdly easy to get invested in. It serves as a welcome distraction.

Would I Lie to You has been getting me through.

I know nothing about fishing but love Gone Fishing with Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse. Perfect antidote to the worry that the world is about to go up in flames.

Ludwig on the BBC is a lighthearted easy watch as well

I've stopped watching all news - so gained about 1-2 hours a day to do more productive things

I see that Series 2 of the new Frasier has finished. That means that we can set up a week long trial of Paramount + and binge watch it

I didn't know there was an US version until this episode. He was very good.

Interesting interview with General Petreaus on TRIP Leading today. He was in line for SoS under Trump but requested more sit downs to talk about particular issues before he would commit, so Trump got distracted and went for Tillerson instead.
