So first of all I go dentist. Get all my top teeth out . Feel shit and horrible after. stressed looking after the kids whilst dribbling and can't talk and all the other crap that comes with it.

Then my back door that leads to my garden gets jammed and it won't open . We are trying to prize it open with what ever we can find. Kick it etc. Then we snap the key on the lock . Then we damage the fame. Then we break the door handle. We managed to open it in the end but the lock is snapped... did I contact the lock smith up the road nope... did I call the council... nope

On a plus not at least the dogs can get out.

And I have orded ice cream and muller rice

At the moment I have no teeth at all . So what can I eat ? I
Definitely no soup. I have porridge and muller rice. I can't think of anything because I litterly just want to swallow it.

Sorry you're having such a rotten day. What type of food has the dentist advised you to eat today? Custard is a comfort food for me.

IfIToldYouThisAboutMe · 29/10/2024 18:15

I was told not muller rice when had wisdom tooth removed as the bits can get in the socket.

Ice cream or real Luke warm smooth soup ie tomato

Sorry didn't see no soup.

Custard.
You can get ambrosia choc custard

Peridot1 · 29/10/2024 18:17

Sounds like a rubbish day!

I had one tooth out a couple of weeks ago toadd to one out on the other side a few years ago. So no chewing either side. I lived on soup to be honest. With yoghurts. Smoothies. Ice cream. Scrambled eggs good too. Mashed potato was ok too.

StarSlinger · 29/10/2024 18:20

Mashed potato with gravy
Scrambled eggs
Jelly
Custard

DeliciousApples · 29/10/2024 18:21

Put your dinner in a blender and make it into baby food.

Idaho mashed potato, in packets, if you want to take it easy

I hate mash. I'm thinking maybe I could get some meal replacement type milk shakes . Just for 2 or 3 days.

Mcdonalds milkshakes kept me going when I could t eat properly

MiddleAgedDread · 29/10/2024 18:30

Make a milkshake with a banana and some protein powder and drink it through a straw

Beebumble2 · 29/10/2024 18:33

So sorry, what an awful time you’re having. When I had a jaw op and couldn’t open my mouth I ate ( sucked up!) Petit Filous and jelly before I moved on to Muller rice. I now cannot abide Muller Rice!
Hope tomorrow is better.

Would a cheap and cheerful blender be enough to do that ?

You can get breakfast drinks or protein shakes.

StarSlinger · 29/10/2024 18:34

Jacket potato. Just eat the inside with butter.

purplecorkheart · 29/10/2024 18:37

I would suggest wine given your day, but sadly not a good idea with dental extract. What about mashed and strained roasted veg? Dips like hummus or mashed avacodo?

MiddleAgedDread · 29/10/2024 18:37

@Onlywayisup24 yes, a cheap stick blender will be fine, slice the banana before blending

Ahh that sounds awful. I am using a straw to drink . Which is ok. Lots of smooth yogurts are a good idea.

I don't drink anyway. But did not know you can't drink after teeth being taken out

Gin? Gin 😂

Seriously though, you poor thing, what a time you are having. How about a Bovril drink, or Horlicks? Maybe tiny pasta shapes cooked till very soft and in a smooth sauce or something like that.

UpsyDaisysarmpit · 29/10/2024 18:44

Watch out with straws. Apparently the suction can suck out the little clots inside your sockets which need to stay in place if you're avoiding pain.

I would recommend smoothies from the shop. Yes to meal replacement shakes etc.

AD1509 · 29/10/2024 18:46

Sorry I’m clearly oblivious here- why have you had all your top teeth removed?
