Definitely David Tennant and Sandi Toskvig both of whom I used to admire very much.

Same. And Stephen Fry for being rather obviously pleased with himself. Love Hugh Laurie though. Oh, and Nish Kumar for his ridiculous rant about "transphobes".

Gettingbysomehow · 06/10/2024 15:14

Jay Blades primarily, I thought he'd done brilliantly dragging himself away from his awful roots but now he's sabotaged his own life.
I may respect him again if he seeks extensive therapy. He clearly has not recovered from his trauma nor tried to get help.

Hunnymonster1 · 06/10/2024 15:15

Been really good to see the bigots out themselves on here though not liking the truth it seems aww

TooBigForMyBoots · 06/10/2024 15:15

She's a big feminist and has done stuff for feminism it's her thing . What you don't like is the support for trans people

She said trans people are who they say they are. Well that’s a lot of dangerous nonsense isn’t it! What if they said they were a child? Would that be ok? She spouting wokey nonsense that I can’t and won’t respect.

If you claim men can be women if they really, really feel they are, you're not a feminist. You're an idiot.
It's not 'anti trans' to say humans can't change sex, and no man has any idea what it feels like to be a woman because they aren't one.

DearRussell · 06/10/2024 15:17

Russell Brand- where to start? He seems to want to be seen as a messiah

louis Theroux - his ego is getting to overshadow his talents. He interviewed Germaine Greer and then made snidey comments afterwards

Uou r wrong g yes you can still be a feminist and many are you may not accept that. That's your opinion doesn't make what I say wrong to

God did he? That’s terrible. Well he certainly is a Creep isn’t he!

I’ve looked on Wikipedia, it says it was amicable but why on earth would either want or agree to a split a year before she died? Strange.

Edited

Yeah, there could be details that we don't know about, but I've tried really hard to think of a realistic scenario where you would happily decide to split from your huband of many years while you are dying and I just can't.

Gettingbysomehow · 06/10/2024 15:19

Also Huw Edwards for being a massive hypocrite, pretending to have a wonderful life with his loyal wife and 5 kids and a devout christian when all along he was grubby little paedo. I wouls have had much more respect for him had he never hidden his bisexuality. it isn't a crime to be bisexual.

Acknowledging women are a sex distinct from men isn't "bigotry" 🙄

DearRussell · 06/10/2024 15:19

Johnathan Ross left his wife when she had a mental health breakdown. Reunited when she got better.

Squirrelsnut · 06/10/2024 15:21

Anyone who is riding on the coat tails of 'be kind' because they're too cowardly to do otherwise.

lonelywater · 06/10/2024 15:21

Janina Ramirez. It's particularly grim when your not so secret crush turns out to be a nutter. Sobs.

Paperpensanddustmotes · 06/10/2024 15:21

JK Rowling for building a career on inclusion and acceptance and then wizzing all over it when it made her enough money... and then using another male pseudonym to shill her work despite being all for 'women's rights' ... not to mention the racial stereotypes in her work.

Dave Grohl for pushing the whole 'nice guy' act.

Or just maybe interesting thought here they actually believe it and think humans should be decent and not hateful I know a rather strange suggestion

No that’s hard. As a former cancer sufferer myself I can only think she wanted rid of him as her husband before she died but that is only my speculation as that’s the only reason I could think of if it were me. So basically I’ll assume he wasn’t a great husband anyway (I could be wrong though). I’ve never read anything about him before always just thought he looks like a miserable so and so.

TooBigForMyBoots · 06/10/2024 15:22

James Dyson

SchrodingersParrot · 06/10/2024 15:22

The first name to spring to mind was Boris Johnson - but then, I never had any respect for him in the first place.

How odd @FeetupTvon to start a thread like this without saying your own opinion or bother to reply to anyone.
