I eat it nearly every day at the moment! Is it a normal breakfast or lunch for you?

Never. Can't stand avocado, it's tasteless and the texture is awful. Somehow dry and creamy at the same time.

Lisbeth50 · 05/10/2024 23:16

I had it for lunch the other day. I maybe have it a couple of times a month.

XenoBitch · 05/10/2024 23:22

I was honestly waiting for this question to be followed up with "and this is why you can't afford to buy property!".

princesspadam · 05/10/2024 23:24

Never, I don't get the avocado hype

Isitreallythiscrap · 05/10/2024 23:27

Not once, avocado is over rated, tastes like slimy mud

wendywoopywoo222 · 05/10/2024 23:35

Never for me. Not tried it but it doesn't look appetising.

I eat it but don’t tell anyone about it… do you eat it to ‘sound posh’ if no one knows you’re eating it? Do bears shit in the woods? If a tree falls in the forest and noone is around, does it make a sound? It’s a conundrum.

Haha. This is funny because my 10 year old’s favourite food is guacamole. Not sure if she’s told her friends that though.

sanityisamyth · 05/10/2024 23:40

Never have, never will.

Scutterbug · 05/10/2024 23:41

I don’t really eat avocado on toast much, but most weeks I have an avocado and prawns sandwich.

Just avocado on toast, never. With poached or fried eggs? Probably every 3-4 weeks for brunch.

Serious question...

Why can't Lidl sort out their avocado suppliers? Theirs never ripen, so I have to get them from Waitrose 😩

How awful for you.

She does like a tortilla and hummus but she’s not a fan of sriracha. Loves olives though! I do also have an 8 year old who would live off roast beef and gravy if she could, so maybe that redeems us as a family!

leia24 · 05/10/2024 23:48

Never because avocado is disgusting

greenrollneck · 05/10/2024 23:53

About 4+ times a month with eggs., yummy!

outforawalkbiatch · 05/10/2024 23:53

All the time
Good with feta, cherry tomatoes, red onion and chilli oil

NinetyNineOrangeBalloons · 05/10/2024 23:57

I never make it at home but it’s one of the things I tend to choose if I go out for breakfast / brunch, as I don’t eat eggs and it tends to be the non-egg option on menus.

StormingNorman · 05/10/2024 23:57

Never anymore. I like my crushed avocado with chilli these days.

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 06/10/2024 00:10

Never had it.
