I've just watched A Star Is Born (Bradley Cooper version) and it's made me a bit weepy, I need a good cry to get it out, what shall I watch?

Coincidentally I just found out Kris Kristofferson died a few days ago, which I wasn't expecting to read when googling information about the film I was watching.

I had a very damp face in the cinema on seeing this. I might watch this.

I cried all the way home on the train after watching it in the cinema !

E.T. is another of course.

I saw that film as a teenager and it made me cry!

Black Beauty ( 1990’s ) and The Snow Dog always make me blub.

As a 7 yr old, La Strada really made me sob.

Mum
was watching it ( Black and White, English subtitles) even as a young child it made me cry- despite not understanding people that well then.

AthenaBasil · 01/10/2024 21:41

The Orphanage (Spanish film)

Titanic, always. When Thomas Andrews sets the clock for the last time, knowing it's all over... 😩

The Lion King, it's killed me since I was about 5.

Atonement

surprised no one mentioned this one yet……maybe it’s just me.

BraveFacesEveryone · 01/10/2024 21:42

Pans Labyrinth, absolutely heartbreaking.
The Time Travellers Wife always gets me sobbing too.
