O and does anyone else remember ‘Serial Mom’ with Kathleen Turner! I was obsessed with it as a teen!

I think Midnight Express is pretty well. known. I've heard of it but declined to watch it. Mainly because I'm a wuss and anything beyond a PG terrifies me. I still sometimes have nightmares about Shawshank.

I loved Stella Street! Mick & Keith's Corner Shop and David Bowie doing stand up.

I’ve watched half of good bye Lenin. It was on late at night and been out drinking so was struggling to keep up with the subtitles. Anyway I moved overseas and saw that it on the movies on the tv package I had. Unfortunately the subtitles were all in the language of the country I was living rather than in English! I’m on a mission now to find it.
