Vance versus Walz is going to need a LOT of popcorn

The Post previously reported that Vance tapped Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) to help him prepare to face Walz on the debate stage. Emmer, the House majority whip, has known Walz for years.

So where Walz's prep team is basically political and policy experts so as to best state and defend his and Kamala's positions and policies, Vance is choosing a 'personal connection' of Walz to prep him. Sounds as if Vance's tactic is going to be personal attacks and things he hopes will get Walz's goat. Wanker.

Maybe Eddie Izzard should sue ....

His campaign have tried to keep him on message with screeds of Teleprompter notes to read, but he keeps on going off piste then reverts to teleprompter in mid sentence which sounds more ludicrous than staying off piste

If I were Russian, I would be pissed off that Putin can find enough money to keep Trump so far into this game, whilst my family members in the army have to throw potatoes at the Ukrainians.

Very disheartened that CBS has said they won't do any fact checking. Vance has already said publicly that he's happy to lie. It will be a big audience. Unless you've shed all sense of journalistic and integrity, this is exactly the platform to check the most egregious of them. Honestly, it's the normalising of flat out blatant lying that's I'm finding the most depressing part. I don't know how we undo that, even in a post-Trump world. It's why they don't care that everyone hates Vance. If he can lie the voters into a state of confusion and abject terror, they don't need to like him to hand him power.

That was my thought. He is the one who should be paying for his insurance and his security, not his opponent or the taxpayers of the city he has decided to infest that day.

I'd be demanding payment in advance from his bankrupt organisation too, if I owned the venue he wanted to use.

I had people refusing to sit beside me in the TV room at Uni as I jumped so much watching Star Trek TOS . Dh complains that he's still got the nail marks from me clutching his hand watching Jurassic Park Needless to say I've never watched Alien or Jaws

Look at the faces/eyes of the people behind him. Vacant, not listening, barely 'there'. Reacting only when someone leads a little applause/cheer. They are literally not comprehending what they are hearing.

Reports that some are paid $30-$50 to attend and then they leave half way through. Who knows...?

But these ignorant people will still vote for him on the day.
