I'd like to know what happened to the two Microsoft laptops which were delivered to a MN's daughter I think a week or two ago?
Also the woo one about the missing clock chains.

Didn't Birdy friend ( some kind of badge?) tell the little boy who owned it that his mother was going to die? There has been no update by her........ Ifirc it was just before lockdown.

I think of it every time i drive down that bit of road - about 6 pm last night was the last time actually!😂

I know nothing about the thing, but there's always been something about it which has made me feel very odd. I felt it was 'real' deep in my bones right from the first time i read the original post.

No, but I believe Birdie Friend was credited on here with having predicted the pandemic, like a sort of little RSPB Nostradamus.

Yes he told his mum that preschool was going to be closed for a long time and many people in the world were going to die or something. That was just before Covid hit. Very freaky. I think he predicted his mum having a baby too? I was invested in that quirky thread and disappointment it disappeared!

Haunted badge boy (Birdie Friend) was a hoax. A good one though !

There is a reason many cultures and religions acknowledge a version of the devil. That’s because it is real. It is not an abstraction in various forms, Halloween, a horror movie, etc, which are safe to play with as we go about our lives. The difference is what is evil is ever present. It manifests for unknown reasons, not in everybody’s lives. But for those where it does, there is no control over when, the form it takes and how it interacts with us. But it’s there and if you are approached you will get the right information to win through.

I should be having a lunchtime walk but did have a quick search for this leaning back thing but no luck. Maybe I’ve had my fill of scary things from MN…which is partly how I got here, someone told me there were lots of spooky stories here.

The lady who found out she was pregnant literally a few weeks before she was due. I'd love to know how she and her little one are doing now. Must be about 4 years ago?

The one with the clock weights that totally disappeared, the lady who bought a house with an allotment being used by someone else who then had issues with her garage and the lady who had lost something I thought was in a teapot.

Apologies if anyone else has replied already, but she started another thread and the answer is yes he did propose! They have now set a date and are busy planning everything!

Thank you! I've now seen the new thread - I kept on looking for one to pop up but I never found it before. I'm so happy for the OP -and it was a surprise after all! I think she came across as absolutely lovely in it all, even with the kid instantly going off with the ring and everything she still saw the beauty and joy in the moment and it's all part of the story. Fantastic!

I think that sadly there has been so many negative people in the thread, that the op started a new one and only gave it to people who messaged her to ask for it.

a lady who needed to declutter her house as her parents constantly bought her stuff. I think some members here went to her house to help. She didn’t want to upset her parents by disposing of a wardrobe? I hope she managed to stand her ground with her parents.

Right, this is going back a bit now but was there a post about a cake where the baker (not the OP) asked for a ridiculous amount of money*.
When challenged and asked to produce a receipt, it contained a ludicrous amount of ingredients - including, mysteriously, an avocado??!
Or am I totally mis-remembering made that up? 😂

*I'm a hobby baker so I am aware that ingredients do genuinely add up and cost a lot, and also have to factor in the hours of work put in, but this sum was beyond the pale hence the OP posting!
