What is something you will never do, or have done and will never do again.

For me it’s banana boating.

I went on it once, and the strap I was holding snapped. I went flying off after one rough wave. Even though I was wearing a life jacket, it still scared the shit out of me and I refused to get back on it. I ended up going in the boat instead. My dad was pissed off with me cos he thought I was exaggerating. So he took my spot. I took great pleasure in seeing him go flying. He never apologised though

Will never do again:

• attempt to swim in the Dead Sea. Get any part of the Dead Sea in my eyes or any other mucous membranes. Ouch.
• eat andouette (sausage made of guts). Absolutely grim.
• date a certain ex boyfriend. Knowingly get within 200m of a particular person.

other than that I don’t think there’s anything I wouldn’t do again. I’ve been fortunate not to regret too much of my life experience.

Caving (sounds awful)
smoking (never done never will)
boat rides (I get terribly seasick)
rollercoasters (loved as a teen, now hate)
Get a tattoo or piercing

Flotation tank. Hated it.

Never wanted to:

• Climb a mountain (killimanjaro, Everest whatever...going up to come back down holds no appeal to me)
• Caving/potholing
• bungee jumping
• Eating bugs
• pretty much anything you've ever seen on I'm a Celebrity
• go on a cruise
• do anything sporty that contains the word 'ultra'

Wouldn't do again

• rollercoasters (used to love these but they make me so sick now!!)
• visit Morocco (the sexism was off the charts, even though I covered myself from head to toe, still got inappropriate touching and had a tiny scrap of a child compliment my 'tits')
• living in London
• working for misogynists

Eating oysters. Twice bitten.

Crispy Kreme doughnuts. I once ate two and was violently ill.

Smoking. Although I dream about it sometimes.

Crash dieting.

I've just been reading about an anti bucket list on Bored Panda.

I'll probably never go scuba diving again. I loved it for many years but the appeal has gone now. Same with skiing and snowboarding. I used to love it but my passion has gone.
I don't want to go in a night club clubbing ever again. I loved them between the ages of 15 to about 38 -39. Not these days!

I’m intrigued by scuba diving but I don’t think I could ever bring myself to do it. I mean, I’m rubbish at snorkelling

Disney or similar “attractions”

Also have no desire to bungee jump / sky dive etc

Living with a man.
Have children.
Being vegan.

This is a great idea for a thread - I sometimes think that people do things just because they think they should! For me:

Any sort of cold water experience
Sky diving
Go in helicopter
Vegas/similar
Marathon/any extreme endurance event

I expect there are more, but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.

Taking any kind of drugs (I will except alcohol though)

I wouldn't have any interest in climbing Everest or similar but sadly I won't be climbing Ben Nevis, Helvellyn or Snowdon as I have a leg issue that's not going to get much better.

Places I'm not that interested in travelling to:
Mainland China (though I did like Singapore)
Benidorm
Patagonia
Antarctica

Hot air balloon

have seen too many land in the trees near our home 😆 the basket dangling 10 metres from the ground

Have hypnotherapy to cure my fear of spiders.

I'm scared of those fuckers for a reason.

Go paintballing. Hated it!!!

Rollercoaster. Either vomit or get someone’s else’s vomit all over me? No thanks.

Las Vegas
Centre Parks
Cruise Ship

I can recommend Las Vegas (though I went there donkeys years ago, so it may have altered) for at least a couple of days, because it's so weird. Also, back then, you could get to go to really cheap shows by famous people or get really cheap meals out because they wanted to attract you into the casinos to gamble. However, this may have changed.

Anyhow, it's at the bottom end of Death Valley which is a really interesting and spectacular place and also near the Hoover Dam, also worth a visit

Go in a helicopter. Genuinely think anybody who does is crazy 😂

From what my DD17 is saying, I don't think a huge percentage of her cohort will be doing the same!

I wanted to bungee jump until I read that it can detach your retinas - that's a no then.

Most of these. I do like Blackpool, though, and I'd give the banana boat and the crazy golf a go.

Crispy Kreme doughnuts

What is the point of those things? They probably each take a month off your lifespan and they're ridiculously expensive, and they don't even taste nice. And they're neither crispy nor creamy.

Crispy Kreem donuts used to be amazing way back in the day 😁
