Are you a morning or evening showerer?

Got into a lighthearted debate about this…the evening showerers say it’s unclean to get into bed after not washing all day. The morning showerers say it’s better to start the day as clean as possible, not many hours after your last shower.

Morning shower for speed and then generally a bath at night, sometimes a quick cool shower.

Morning, I sweat quite a lot in my sleep.

If it's been especially hot or I've done something physical I will shower in the evening too. But no way I could face my office colleagues in the morning without a shower.

If I'm wfh, I don't bother showering and will do it the following day as whose gonna care 😆. Plus, I enjoy the break from sorting my hair out.

@KreedKafer isn't it common courtesy to the other people you'll see during the day?

I'm generally a night time person so this would mean remaining comfortable and relaxed in the post coital state all night but then cleaning in the morning for the benefit of yourself and others you meet when you go out!

My post did assume that people 1. Get dressed in the morning and 2. Go out.

If you do neither than I see how a morning shower is surplus to requirements.

Was both but with cost of living I shower once now (unless I've had a heavy gym session for example).

I couldn't get into bed without a bath or shower normally bath. Then quick shower in the morning

Morning for me as I work in an office so I like to be fresh for work. My husband does a manual job so he showers when he gets home because he is filthy. Both kids prefer evening showers.

Evening. I'm either getting ready to go out in the morning, and don't want to get up any earlier than I have to, or having a lie-in. Besides I'm not dirty in the morning - I don't share my bed with a human - and only feel a bit grubby after a day out.
