I am here to be a voice of hope.
I've done the whole thing before.
Last year I was going for Eurovision tickets. There were 90000 tickets in total for all 9 shows combined. I was something daft like 60000th in the queue for one show (10000 tickets per show) so I thought no chance. But stuck with it. It took three hours but I did get the tickets.
Remember: lots of people will be hedging bets and have teamed up with friends and family. They will have multiple tabs for different nights open and have 2 or 3 (or even more) friends trying for one single date. They can only get 4 tickets per household.
So when someone gets to the front of the queue the others will drop out. Others will just be going for seats and if they have sold out they took will drop out. Others will be having technical issues too and will drop out. And then there will be plenty of quitters who will give up because they don't have patience and they will drop out.
If you stick with it, you have a decent chance of getting tickets. I did this for Oasis for many years too, and my advice is to stick with it to the bitter end and to keep trying until there is an OFFICIAL message that there are no tickets left.
For Knebworth I was online early and crashed out numerous times. There were 250,000 tickets available. I got 2 for each night at 4pm because I stuck it out. I think it sold out not long after that but I still got them.
My point being if you want them you may have a long day in front of the computer but the numbers suggest if you persevere you will get them. You just have to stick with it and not be a quitter.
Personally I think they've done it really badly. I think given the ballot they should have done several timed groups rather than a single presale which meant it was much easier to get tickets and then gone on general sale. It would be more organised and save a lot of stress and hassle.
Good luck and keep with it though. The determined will get there eventually.
