This is really really worrying.
Surrogacy is becoming more acceptable as a way to procure children. Of course it would end up being taken to its worst conclusion.
This is in the US, but will happen everywhere.
The vetting process will be minimal compared to the profits that will be made.
The results will be potentially devastating and horrifying for these innocent newborns.

I should’ve asked if you’re employed by social services where it’s your job to step in — however, I’m quite certain you would’ve included that information by now.
I think it would be very odd for people not to care about children. I do find it inappropriate to insert oneself in situations where one doesn’t have or know the entire situation and then to magnanimously claim they were doing it for “the child’s welfare” — when neither the child nor the parents needed any assistance.
