Myself and dh would love to go next year. As would most of the country I'm guessing ha ! The last concert I went to was Britney when I was 10 so I'm new to ticketmaster. Just reading through some threads on Reddit and I'm seriously thinking how the fuck are we even going to be in with a chance of getting tickets with the lengths some people go to?! Multiple devices, different WiFi connections, different sites etc etc
Why can't it just be simple ?? I know it's probably not going to happen for us but it does make me sad, Oasis wasn't my era, I was a child in the 90's but I do love their music and would love to see them live !

I thought this thread was going to be about whether Noel and Liam will actually manage to put their differences aside for long enough to complete the reunion tour! Then again I guess for £40 million each or what ever it is they are going to make they might be able to rub along together 😂.

I saw them live a few years ago, must have been not long before they split, Kasabian were supporting. I can’t remember if they were good or not, I’ve not got much of a memory of their actual set so it can’t have been that good it blew me away or that bad that I remember as a worse gig. What I do remember is lots of pints of piss being thrown everywhere though

I saw them in 98. They were not impressive. The whole Ticketmaster 'Great War' thing was Swift driven. TM will just allocate a random queue place to people who are logged in and if you get lucky, you get lucky - like on phone lines back in 98!!

I'd love to see them live as never managed it as a teen, but the bloody hoops we are made to jump through for tickets is ridiculous. Plus I imagine all the scalpers and bots will be buying them all up somehow anyway.

My nearest venue is Heaton park but that's just an awful venue for a big gig. I'd much rather a stadium if I got tickets, but that adds lots of travel and hotel costs. Nightmare to get to and out from H park, badly organised, dangerous overcrowding, and I can just imagine all the twats throwing piss bottles. Plus £150 just to stand in a muddy crush! It seems way too much. Then obvs there'll be parking/travel/food/drink on top. I was at a gig there and it was £11 for a shot of gin, tonic cost extra, or wine for £9 a glass, and food was rancid looking fish and chips or burgers for £13. I know bands and venues have to make profit but I feel like it's just so greedy. I was a massive fan back in the day but not sure how I can justify those costs.

@Flexibubble So there is no fight for the waiting room? I can just go onto the app aslong as it is before 9am and then I'll be redirected into the queue once the tickets go live ?

Agree with PPs. I saw them the last time they were at Heaton Park and the supporting Kasabian outperformed them by a mile!

Amazing how much people are willing to pay to be doused in piss and groped. I mean, back in the 90s at least you could sneak in for free.

Did you read my op? It is to me 😆 I was a drum and bass raver ! None of this shit, turned up, payed on the door got twisted 🤷‍♀️

My DH is convinced the browser has something to do with it when trying to get tickets. He swears that using safari or edge is quicker. Not sure if it's actually true but when we have been buying tickets in the last couple of years when the Google browser has wait time of 10 mins plus, safari went straight through to the ticket selection.

Again, not sure if there is any truth to it but may be worth a try!

Just give it a go and see what happens. There are 10 of us wanting to go and about 30 of us that will be trying to get tickets using any means possible.🤞

Lots of people will be buying more tickets than they actually want and planning to sell the excess, so even when Sold Out more tickets will come up. Stay calm and cross your fingers. Don't get duped into buying from scam sites.

I saw them at Knebworth years ago and they were very underwhelming. I honestly wouldn't bother.
