Age 41 & all my hair regrowth is grey. What can I do to reverse this?

I can't afford a root touch up every 6 weeks. It's seriously depressing, all my regrowth is grey, I have dark brown hair... Can this be reversed naturally?

Embrace the grey!
Honestly it's so freeing... yeah the grow out is painful if you have longer hair but so worth it. You could go lighter first.. highlights, blending , etc.

Completely agree with this. I was naturally very dark but started going grey from my early 20s, very slowly. I was dyeing my roots more and more frequently by my mid 40s. Once I decided to grow the dye out, on the basis that I could dye it again if I didn't like it, it was so liberating. I wish I had never dyed my hair when I see photos.

Embrace and move on. It's liberating and freeing not to be chained to the dye bottle or the rebook appointment rota. I was 40 when I did this. I lost the low mood and anxiety that came with stressing over root regrowth. Yes I looked like a chessboard for a while but it was shortlived and my hairdresser supported me with a variety of clever cuts. I love my grey/silver/white mix and I can now focus on all my other anxieties. :)

I have never paid for a colour. Just use a box. They're really good these days and are multi tonal. Only pay for a cut
