What do you call the TV remote in your house?

Just some light lols while I'm moping in bed getting over a bug..

Some people have hilarious names for the telly remote

In our house it was the Zapper or the Button Presser

My nan called it the Wobbler

In my friends house it was the Bipper

The 'moatkintroll' or just the troll. It did used to be called the Frankie after my grandad who would label his with paper and sellotape. We're an odd bunch.

I call it a remote now, but was known by my parents as....wait for it... the changer over-er 🤣

When I was young we called it the button or buttons. DH's family called it "the gun".

Neither of us liked the other's name for it, so we just call it the remote, now.

DDad called it that when we first had a TV with a remote control and it has been Frank ever since.

My husband, who had a very strange upbringing called the remote "the TV box" wtf

The remote, or 'TV remote' if there is any possibility of confusion with the remote for the DVD player, sound-bar or hi-fi.
