McDonald's

Same yuck. Always lukewarm

OlympicsFanGirl · 12/08/2024 18:20

Pizza

Qwertying · 12/08/2024 18:21

Another one for Mcdonald's!

Tisfortired · 12/08/2024 18:21

Sausages. If you had asked me a few years ago what my final meal would be I would have said sausage, mash, peas and onion gravy.

Now I cannot remotely stomach a sausage, I don’t know what it is, I still cook them for the rest of the family very occasionally but I’ll have something else.

BloodyHellBob · 12/08/2024 18:21

Asparagus. I just really have gone off it 🤢

Eminybob · 12/08/2024 18:21

Avocado
Prawns

Just gone off them both. Although maybe i never liked avocado and just ate it because it was trendy? I definitely used to like prawns though.

TheMithrasDirective · 12/08/2024 19:10

Sweet potatoes... I used to eat them all the time at uni, just boiled and sprinkled with salt and pepper. I can't stand them now, the texture makes me yak 🤔

Lorelaigilmore88 · 12/08/2024 19:12

Mcdonalds. Theyve either gone crap or my taste has matured... was my go to for a treat, had one with the kids the other day and it was gross

Favouritefruits · 12/08/2024 19:14

Fajitas we used to have them weekly but I’ve really gone off them in the past few months.

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 12/08/2024 19:16

Mac Donald’s
Cadburys chocolate
posh ready meals
sweet and sour sauce
chocolate chip muffins from the supermarket bakery

basically DH read Dr Van Tulleken’s book on upf and we both cut back a lot on them, but now when I have something I remember previously liking, I don’t anymore. I think I’ve trained myself out of a lot of the crap food. (Still love too many different treat foods though)

Eminybob · 12/08/2024 19:18

Chinese takeaways. Or maybe I've just not found a decent one since moving 15 years ago

blossomismyfriend · 12/08/2024 19:20

Chicken. I've gone right off it and can't face it anymore.

Thevelvelletes · 12/08/2024 19:21

Potted heid on toast Ne Scotland, think I'd vomit now eating that.

ParisinFrance · 12/08/2024 19:22

Eggs

Catshaveiteasy · 12/08/2024 19:23

Prawns. Used to love them but now find the texture nauseating.

KohlaParasaurus · 12/08/2024 19:26

Tomato flavour Cup-a-Soup was a favourite in my teens, accompanied by white sliced bread spread with margarine and a processed cheese slice. There isn't a single component of that meal that I'd thank you for now.

Also, tinned macaroni cheese. Loved it when it was introduced. At some point, the smell and the texture started making me boak.

Caramac.

stargirl1701 · 12/08/2024 19:30

Mussels, scallops, clams, etc. Now full of micro plastics.

lovelysunshine22 · 12/08/2024 19:43

Macdonalds, its vile

2X4B523P · 12/08/2024 19:47

McDonald’s, used to regularly have a plain double cheeseburger for lunch for convenience. Not touched them since you had to have onions regardless of if you wanted them or not.

They didn’t seem to taste as nice as they used to before that and would often be cold once I’d waited in a parking bay for 20 minutes so probably a good thing.

MonsteraMama · 12/08/2024 19:51

Pepperoni pizza, because I was painfully skint once and dumpster dived a fuck load of cheapy pepperoni pizzas from the back of Tesco and shoved them in my freezer. I lived on them for a month so my daughter could eat proper food, so I never want to eat pepperoni pizza again.

Sailawaygirl · 12/08/2024 19:52

Also Fajitas. Used to enjoy so much as a quick Friday tea! But hate them now!

GameOfJones · 12/08/2024 19:54

Sausages here too. I used to eat them all the time but I've had too many gristly or overly greasy ones so they just make me feel a bit queasy now.

princesspadam · 12/08/2024 19:56

Cows milk, actually most milks but I can tolerate oat milk if it's for cereal

Lamb, used to love it as a child, haven't eaten it for years the smell makes me 🤢

BiggieLittle · 12/08/2024 19:59

Any type of chicken, and Chinese food. To be fair I had food poisoning 2/3 weeks ago, and although I can’t be sure what it was I’m pretty sure it was chicken that I got from the local Chinese takeaway (it tasted really funny and fishy so I spat it straight out and it all went in the bin, but if it was that it was enough to make me feel like death for 7 days!)

AgnesX · 12/08/2024 19:59

Bacon. It still smells wonderful but like so many things it doesn't taste the same or has the wrong texture eg cardboard.
