I'm trying to concentrate and finish off a report to send tonight but all I can do is try not to laugh as I can hear the DCs having a 'song off' on the piano and the keyboard in the music room.
One is playing Keane 'Somewhere Only We Know' and the other is bashing out Snow Patrol's 'Chasing Cars' 🙉

What can you currently hear?

My sons fish tank pump and the meditation he is listening too. I love the Keen song. Hope he’s doing it justice 😂

A bit of background city traffic noise and lots of seagulls who are nesting on the roofs around here.

The weather forecast on countryfile, a fan and my dog snoring

A story on my daughters tonie read by daddy while ilhe is working away. Gets my little one to sleep very quickly. And her white noise machine.

My partner getting frustrated with the kids who won't go to sleep.

Tinnitus

The waves lapping on the shore, people chatting, motor boat in distance, kids throwing stones

Nothing. Seriously nothing. Its bliss! The sheep are too hot and tired to bleat.

The washing machine and my DF watching a movie at my house whilst visiting my newborn DD.

it's lovely & quiet here, all I can hear is the fan & the tv quietly which I have on 'the Welsh show' so lots of lovely animal & plants etc. soon to be the Olympics closing ceremony.

Traffic and music. I live very close to a hospital so sirens too.

It's a beautiful evening, I have a glass of wine and can hear a gentle breeze rustling through the trees, a bird tweeting, neighbours chatting and the tap tap of dh playing darts.

Pasta boiling. Nothing else.

The horses kicking their stable doors - I brought them in - out of the heat of the day, now they're telling me they want back out!
