I'm trying to concentrate and finish off a report to send tonight but all I can do is try not to laugh as I can hear the DCs having a 'song off' on the piano and the keyboard in the music room.
One is playing Keane 'Somewhere Only We Know' and the other is bashing out Snow Patrol's 'Chasing Cars' 🙉

DH using his clippers to tidy DS’s hair in the bath (bzzzzzzzz “Keep still. Keep still!”) very faint traffic noise, the wind in the trees, a wood pigeon cooing.

The tower fan whizzing round. And nothing else. In front of me are fields, which are still and silent. Even the bullocks are quiet.

The teenagers are cooking tea together. Spaghetti bol from scratch. I can hear them talking about if they've got it right. One squeaked, I think the pasta boiled over. 😂 nice of them to cook though!

DC talking but not yet arguing. They found a Dungeons and Dragons starter set that belonged to their dad and decided to play. I don’t think either of them knows how to play. DC1 claims she does because they sometimes play it at Warhammer club at school, DC2 has no idea, DC1 does not have the patience to explain to DC2, I have absolutely no idea so can’t help.

The bathroom fan. I'm in the bath. And a dog barking outside. DH has taken the kids to the park to play footy so it won't be this quiet for long.

My tinnitus. It gets rather tiresome.
