In the sea, absolutely! A word of warning, though: if you don't hoick your costume to the side, it will still smell faintly of wee afterwards. Make sure you wash it afterwards, rather than just rinsing it!

I’ve never urinated in the sea, or a swimming pool. I physically cannot do it. I have to get out, and go to a proper toilet. Fair play to you if you can do it, but I just can’t. I don’t think some pee in the sea would make much of a difference. It would literally be a drop in the ocean! It would just be diluted instantly.

Haha I remember when I started surfing and was buying my first wetsuit the guy threw in a bottle of Piss Off for free. I asked what it was, and he said it's good to soak your wettie in it now and again because of the wee. I replied in a horrified voice "why would I wee in a wetsuit??"

Without going into too much (gross) detail, what actually happens to wee between being flushed down the loo and pumped out into the sea anyway, to make it 'clean'?

I would never wee in a pool myself, but if you’ve ever been in a pool and there’s babies in there I guarantee they’ve weed as swim nappies don’t contain the wee, they just catch the solids if they poo.

Yep to the sea. The beaches we go don't have loos close by anyway, so there is no other choice apart from the dunes. And surely in the sea is better than that!
