43 and no but I have never been able to, even as a child.

Funnywonder · 08/08/2024 20:31
  1. Yes.

But I have extraordinarily long arms like Mr Tickle😂 (or a gorilla according to DP.)

fdsgfd · 08/08/2024 20:35

I have never been able to touch my toes!

Weedropofred · 08/08/2024 20:35

75 and yes. I think it's often stronger, more muscular types who can't

HÆLTHEPAIN · 08/08/2024 20:35

AtomicBlondeRose · 08/08/2024 18:16

44, and I can put my hands flat on the ground in front of me!

Me too but I think that’s ‘luck’ due to hypermobile knees and hips!😂

SunnyWindowCrackWokeMeUp · 08/08/2024 20:36

43 and also can put hands flat on ground in front of me

jo1958 · 08/08/2024 20:37

66 and yes, fingers on floor. I have long arms though

FloatyBoaty · 08/08/2024 20:40

37 and quite overweight - but yes with a bit more effort than I’d like! I always have horribly tight hamstrings and a sticky sacroiliac joint though (old injuries) so even when I was super fit and had a BMI of 18, it was an effort.

Almostwelsh · 08/08/2024 20:43

53 and yes, but I couldn't until 2 years ago. I had some physio on a back injury and as a result of the exercises they gave me and a lot of practice I can now. For the first time since I was about 6!

blueshoes · 08/08/2024 20:44

Yes, 57, hands flat on floor.

I have always been flexible. Found beginners yoga and pilates a waste of time (doing it wrong no doubt) because it seemed so easy,

merryhouse · 08/08/2024 20:47

I'm 55 and I can if I work up (down) to it.

I remember when I was 24 trying to touch my toes and getting about half-way down my shins. 😰

Overthebow · 08/08/2024 20:47

Mid 30s and yes flat. Not done exercise in a while for various reasons but have hEDS so it's easy for me.

CarpeVitam · 08/08/2024 20:50
  1. And yes, easily 🤣
longtompot · 08/08/2024 20:55

52
Yes!

Norfolkbumpkin · 08/08/2024 20:59

A very pleasing yes (pretty unfit otherwise!)

Chickoletta · 08/08/2024 21:01

44 - yes.

upinaballoon · 08/08/2024 21:13

Well into my 70s and yes, but I have realised from listening to what the yoga teacher says, that my long arms and big hands might have something to do with it.

NeedWineNow · 08/08/2024 21:20

62 in a month and can put my hands flat on the floor.

pelagra · 08/08/2024 21:23

61 and no, never have been able to all my life

YellowAsteroid · 09/08/2024 02:28

Anyone can touch their toes if they work on it. It's just practice. I have pretty tight hips & hamstrings, but I just keep mobile & work on my flexibility. Touching my toes isn't the aim, it's simply a side effect of staying mobile & flexible overall.

BettyBardMacDonald · 09/08/2024 02:30

61, yes

Thursa · 09/08/2024 02:33

61, yes.

MapleTreeValley · 09/08/2024 02:34

50, yes

Garlicfest · 09/08/2024 02:38

69 and yes, although I have to work up to it these days. My hamstrings and back always feel stiff now, even if I keep stretching every half hour.

I stand on a stair and keep doing it until my fingers reach past my feet.

SecretWitch · 09/08/2024 02:40

59 and yes but I’m really short and close to the ground 😂
