No!

32

Yes, but not flat in the floor. I always have tight hamstrings and calves because I’m lazy with prehab/rehab and would prefer to just bitch about my running and cycling niggles.

wastingtimeonhere · 08/08/2024 18:36

57, yes, can put my hands on the ground, I can sit crosslegged and stand up from that position. I can kick above head height. I do martial arts.

Thecandywomancan · 08/08/2024 18:36

31 and nope. I used to go to dance class from the age of 3 to 21 and I was never flexible. I tried really hard on it and it did improve but it was never easy and could never do a high kick

Morwenscapacioussleeves · 08/08/2024 18:38

46 - just shy of completely flat hands but before I was so bloody fat I could nearly get my elbows down...

I don't think it means much really

DancelikeFredAstaire · 08/08/2024 18:38

58 and no....but then I never have been able to.

avocadotofu · 08/08/2024 18:39

40 and I can put my hands flat on the floor.

Anawi · 08/08/2024 18:39

Not quite today as my legs are very sore amd stiff from a slightly over zealous exercise class 🙈😆 but normally yes. I can put my hands fairly flat on the floor by my feet.
I'm 43.

DuesToTheDirt · 08/08/2024 18:44

55 and I can put my hands flat on the floor. Maybe some of us have short legs.

Changingplace · 08/08/2024 18:45

46 and I can put my hands flat on the floor

SnapdragonToadflax · 08/08/2024 18:46

42, very overweight and quite unfit, and yes, I can get my hands flat on the floor. I suspect I have a bit of hypermobility going on in my pelvis, especially as I had severe SPD in pregnancy.

Underlig · 08/08/2024 18:46

I’m 58, and yes, I can.

StarterCube · 08/08/2024 18:47

32 I can’t, always been rather stiff and struggle with flexibility.

greengreyblue · 08/08/2024 18:47

53, yes.

Yes but those of us with short legs tend to also have short arms, in proportion with our legs!

Wallywobbles · 08/08/2024 18:48
  1. Yes
wendywoopywoo222 · 08/08/2024 18:48
  1. Obese and tall. I can put my hands flat on the floor.
Ihateboris · 08/08/2024 18:48

Yes, 54 and can put the palms of my hands on the floor. Been doing yoga for years 😌

Ketzele · 08/08/2024 18:48

60, overweight and unfit - yes. My lean fit dd can't, though. I've always been unconvinced that it tells you anything worth knowing!

RagzRebooted · 08/08/2024 18:49

AtomicBlondeRose · 08/08/2024 18:16

44, and I can put my hands flat on the ground in front of me!

39 and same. I still could when I was 17.5 stone, I'm just a bit hypermobile. Nothing to do with fitness unfortunately!

Sethera · 08/08/2024 18:49

50, fat, and yes. I can also put my toes into my mouth 😄

skyfalldown · 08/08/2024 18:49

I've never once been able to, even as a small child

godmum56 · 08/08/2024 18:50

71 yes, can almost do hands flat on floor even though I haver got a bad back and bum knees

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 08/08/2024 18:50

43 and touched them once in 2010 during yoga having gone every week for 2 years.

Wallywobbles · 08/08/2024 18:50

Can you squat with your heels fat on the floor? I can after a lot of collagen.
Still can't kneel with my arse on my heels though.

oneskip · 08/08/2024 18:50

60

Yes
