Of course the Tory MPs have to whittle it down to two before the swivel eyed loons get to vote. I imagine if they had their way they'd want Farage or Johnson.

Oh I'm surprised the OP isn't shaking and crying.

That's the other c-word.

My reference was to the meaning "hidden" - often used for part of a church.

Rinse and repeat: it's a matter of supreme indifference to the country. More people care about the love lives of a couple from a reality TV show than who runs the Tories.

Crikey, that thread is somewhat melodramatic!

Piggywaspushed · 18/08/2024 12:34

I'm confused again. This is a near permanent state.

BestIsWest · 18/08/2024 12:36

It’s the word for digital currency @Piggywaspushed. Mumsnet automatically hide the thread if it is mentioned.

The thread in AIBU is about VAT on private schools thinly disguised as censorship by Labour.

DuncinToffee · 18/08/2024 12:36

Thanks, found the thread all by myself. Proud !

It is indeed gold.

pointythings · 18/08/2024 12:50

It's hilarious. Basically, everyone is allowed to delete comments off Facebook pages they own, except Labour. When Labour does it, it's c-word.

PandoraSox · 18/08/2024 14:10

Oh, we are headed for a dictatorship now! That thread is hilarious.

TooBigForMyBoots · 18/08/2024 15:23

The extreme RW hyperbollox is in overdrive.😁

pointythings · 18/08/2024 16:01

The more Labour do sensible grown up things, the more the bollocks is ramped up.

itsgettingweird · 18/08/2024 17:26

That thread is indeed hilarious.

I'm still catching up with it having been out since 11am! I have to do it in small doses for the sake of my blood pressure 😂

Sir Starmer appears to be the new insult of choice.

cardibach · 18/08/2024 17:37

It does, @Piggywaspushed
Weird how they all know so much about everything but don’t seem to know the form for addressing a knight…

SerendipityJane · 18/08/2024 17:39

We need a definition of misogyny second. After a definition of woman, first.

Good luck with that.

cardibach · 18/08/2024 17:42

Actually @SerendipityJane I'm ok with any definition of woman in this instance. As long as the hate can be tackled I don’t see it matters if some of the women aren’t biologically XX.

It's entirely deliberate but I am not sure why.

Piggywaspushed · 18/08/2024 17:49

DuncinToffee · 18/08/2024 17:32

This is good news.

Piggywaspushed · 18/08/2024 17:51

Oh, I just got the c word!!

Eventually!!!!

Halleluia!

itsgettingweird · 18/08/2024 17:54

I read that about misogyny in the Telegraph. I was reading it all waiting for the negative punchline but they actually printed that the previous government were pulled on it during the 22/23 report and didn't act.

I agree it's really good they are tacking this.
