I'm wearing a 20 year old skirt, I love it but it's a bugger to iron so I don't wear it much. I'm just pleased it still fits!

My socks are four years old.

Muffin101 · 06/08/2024 09:40

Today, probably my bra? About a year old. I’m pregnant and so my maternity clothes are all pretty new (to me, that is, via Vinted!) as I sold nearly everything on last time around.

Whereelsetochataboutit · 06/08/2024 09:41

A three year old tee shirt

shellyleppard · 06/08/2024 09:42

15 year old dressing gown, slob day here Lol

drspouse · 06/08/2024 09:43

My Birkenstocks are about 5 years old. I've put on a bit of weight so the rest are quite new.
I have a dress from 1991 that I'm aiming to make into something for DD.

SkaneTos · 06/08/2024 09:44

My trousers are about 20 years old.

RancidOldHag · 06/08/2024 09:44

Cropped canvas printed jeans from Boden that must be at least 16 years old, possibly more

Theothername · 06/08/2024 09:46

Combats, just over 20 years old.

twopercent · 06/08/2024 09:47

Sandals are ancient - only come out on special occasions. Might be about 30 years old? Have not been worn much - do I win!!!?

Whereelsetochataboutit · 06/08/2024 09:48

15 year old dressing gown, slob day here Lol

I finally parted with a 15 year old dressing gown only last year. I'm still mourning it

elliejjtiny · 06/08/2024 09:51

I'm wearing a maternity bra and my youngest is 10 so it's probably that. It's so comfy though.

shellyleppard · 06/08/2024 09:51

@Whereelsetochataboutit I'm dreading the day this one gives up....its so comfy Lol sorry for your loss of the best dressing gown

user98265567843 · 06/08/2024 09:52

Top is probably 15 years old, jumper (cold and wet here today) nearly 20 years i guess. Both good quality obvs, but probably wouldn't get past the fashion police! supermarket jeans 9mths, very nearly have a hole in the crotch from cycling in them…

LBOCS2 · 06/08/2024 09:56

My knickers. They're about 12 years old, from a multipack I bought from JL ahead of the birth of my elder.

The rest of my clothes are (surprisingly!) relatively new - less than 3 years old, anyway.

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 06/08/2024 09:58

My bra must be 8-10 years old.

Lovelysummerdays · 06/08/2024 09:59

My t shirt is about 3 years old from Markies. I’ve lost weight so had to replace a lot via Vinted recently so no idea how old jeans are.

mumonthehill · 06/08/2024 10:01

Oh dear feel a total slob now with my 24 year old dressing gown!!! Bought it from M and S when I was pregnant and other than a hole in one pocket it is still going strong!!

RosieProbert · 06/08/2024 10:02

A old baggy top lol

NoNoNona · 06/08/2024 10:04

My underwear, which dates from between 2016 and 2018, so relatively new.
Oldest things I possess are 30+ years old, still fit and still in good condition.

MonsteraMama · 06/08/2024 10:07

I'm actually wearing a jumper of my mam's that's older than me. I'm not entirely sure how old but she tells me she bought it in "Dotty P's" in the late 80's. There are photos of her in it holding me as a baby, and it's still in great nick. They don't make clothes like they used to!

TrumpetOfTheMatriarchy · 06/08/2024 10:08

Not sure, address and cardi but both charity shopped. Pants are about two years and bra three, sandals this summer.

Tmpnmc86 · 06/08/2024 10:09

We've just pulled stuff from the attic that's 20+ years old for my teen daughter to wear.

UnderMontanaSkies · 06/08/2024 10:09

My navy Peter Storm fleece which I have had since I was 13, I am 40 this year! It's in surprisingly good condition considering I've used it as my gardening fleece for the last 17 years! I had to replace the elastic in the cuffs the other day but that was a half hour job and it will live on for many a year yet. Stylish it is not, but it's very practical and warm and I don't mind if I get paint etc on it!

Nice items of clothing, I'm not wearing today but I have 20 year old cashmere jumpers that are still going strong, ditto silk scarves of the same age. In fact they're definitely older as I picked them up secondhand in the first place.

Today my oldest item is a red ten year old button front linen dress which makes me feel fabulous and swishy when I wear it!

TheFluffiestCat · 06/08/2024 10:10

I think I bought this bra when I was pregnant, so about 11 years ago. Yesterday I wore a dress I've had for 30 years.

stayathomer · 06/08/2024 10:12

wellies 17 yo (bought when pregnant with eldest😅😅😅) most of my nightdresses are from when I was pregnant with him too😅
