I came to say MKUltra but I see that has been covered! Really scary and fascinating.

One I think is true - I think several world governments, including the US, have at a minimum convincing evidence of extra terrestrial life. I don't think they're secretly keeping aliens prisoner in Area 51. But I've heard enough convincing testimonies that the evidence exists. Plus, what is the actual probabilty that we are actually alone in the universe? It must be close to 0.

Edited

There is an equation which expresses the possibility that we encounter extra-terrestrial life - the Drake equation.

Personally I think there's probably other life out there but I doubt it's intelligent so the only way we'll come across it is if we travel somewhere where it exists.

But that wasn't true.

Thats the point.
The police being involved was initially dismissed as a conspiracy theory for years.
Helped by The Sun and Mrs Thatcher.

However the policeman in charge that day, Duckenfield, had replaced Brian Mole who normally always commanded policing at Hillsborough.
It’s reported, not sure how true, that on learning Duckenfield had been given the match to police that Mole had said words roughly to the effect of
‘ Let’s see how he f###s this up.’
He could never have guessed how much.

I fully believe this. I had my covid jag then found out I was pregnant. Long story short I lost my baby at 24wks due to unfixable heart problems. Neither dp or I's family have any heart problems in it

I’m so sorry. 🌺

The Covid vaccine is linked to heart problems.

This is true.

Robodog · 25/07/2024 07:45

Burgdorfer, who died in 2014, worked as a bioweapons researcher for the US military and said he was tasked with breeding fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and other blood-sucking insects, and infecting them with pathogens that cause human diseases.

According to the book, there were programs to drop “weaponised” ticks and other bugs from the air, and that uninfected bugs were released in residential areas in the US to trace how they spread. It suggests that such a scheme could have gone awry and led to the eruption of Lyme disease in the US in the 1960s.

It hasn't been proven.

Influential paedophiles. There are so many. @Garlickest can you hint who you are referring to if you can’t directly say?

This scares me. I don’t believe in the whole Qanon conspiracy but I think some aspects of it are true.

Where’s the proof for this one?

The death of David Kelly conspiracy theory has legs

Absolutely- but I very much doubt the truth will ever be public.

KnittingKnewbie · 25/07/2024 08:31

Many groups of indigenous people/mentally unwell people/disabled people/people various governments disapproved of were secretly sterilized without the knowledge of either the patients themselves or the general public.

Further to the JFK assassination, I have seen a documentary or maybe read a book years ago that she was also killed by the CIA as she was privy to secrets due to her relationship with JFK

Cozylozy · 24/07/2024 23:11

The multiple affairs of prince Philip

That's not a conspiracy theory, it's a load of rumours.

frankincenseandoranges · 25/07/2024 08:34

How do you define conspiracy theory? Of course plenty of unpopular views turn out to be correct!

FineFettler · 25/07/2024 08:35

Dorisbonson · 25/07/2024 07:44

This is true.

What's the source of that?

I said after the second month that this many people aren't getting sick and/or dying because someone in China ate a damn bat.

I'm still wondering if it was purposely accidentally released.

Further to this - covid was announced to have reached Ireland in Feb or March 2020 and we shut the country down just before St Patrick's Day so around 14th March (can't remember specifically)
But in the previous winter Nov/Dec a mysterious viral illness went around and so many people were sick. The local schools had 30-50% of children out and my friends in other parts of the country said the same.

This was definitely covid as the symptoms were the same and it wasn't announced as flu yet it was months before covid "officially" arrived

I'm assuming the same mystery illness circulated in the UK

I don't think the extraterrestrial life one has ever been a conspiracy theory as such. As you say, no-one has any doubt that there has to be other life out there ion the universe. There are conspiracy theories around whether aliens have landed, and there has never been any evidence that they have.

Dorisbonson · 25/07/2024 08:51

FineFettler · 25/07/2024 08:35

What's the source of that?

Plenty of studies. One with a 99m cohort mentioned in Hansard by Lord Patel for instance.

My sister's friend is a Macmillan cancercare nurse who think the covid vaccine is causing more cancer cases in young people. She says the team she works with have all refused to have the jab now. Anyone else heard that?

Nousernamesleftatall · 25/07/2024 09:06

Weapons of mass destruction.
Fluroide in water is bad for you.
The CIA killed JFK.
Covid was man made and funded by the US.

A 9 year old relative was in hospital in England in Jan 20 for a week with low SATs observed during a GP visit who had diagnosed chest infection that didn’t clear - everything they tested in hospital eg, asthma, was negative and it was put down to a severe viral infection. I visited and was ill for a couple of days the week after, weird flu type ill. I joked at work I’d got covid - thought later maybe it wasn’t so funny though generally I am well behind the rest on accepting theories over official information.

Apppple · 25/07/2024 09:10

Personally I think:

David Kelly didn't die by suicide

Covid was a lab leak (probably accidental). I know a lot of people think it was here in 2019, but ICUs weren't full then like they were in 2020 so I'm not sure I believe that, unless it mutated into a worse strain

Aliens exist but are very very very far away

I'm always amazed at the number of people who rush to put the blame on the Covid vaccine. What about Covid? We know that has the potential to damage every organ in our bodies. Or how about the rise in child poverty that has lead to the return of Victorian illnesses. Why do these people always point the finger at the vaccine? With absolutely no proof behind it! And ones that use their position as a medial professional to do it particularly piss me off. Your sister should know better. (Sorry, your sister's friend. )

Where’s the proof for this one?

There's tons of it, including actual research papers. Check out Dr John Campbell's channel on YouTube where he goes through all the relevant research. He also does lots of analysis on the longstanding excess death rates around the world that continue to this day, and coincidentally started with the introduction of the mRNA vaccines, which were provably very far from properly tested. There have been many doctors trying to whistleblow on the impact of mRNA vaccination, but of course it's pretty much a career ending move so the majority keep schtum.

The world renowned oncologist Professor Angus Dalgliesh has been trying to blow the whistle on 'turbo cancer' for some time now. I personally know three young women who've developed rare brain cancers since getting vaccinated - in the whole of my long(ish) life prior to that I never came across anyone with brain cancer in my whole circle of acquaintances. Two of those young women died in a matter of weeks from diagnosis.
