Someone mentioned enjoying this thread so I thought I'd do another one. IIRC you had to post three places and other MNers said if they'd been there. If they hadn't, you won my undying respect.

No impossible places like the inside of a nuclear reactor this time. As small as a pub, as big as a country.

I went to Iceland in 1984ish (plus or minus 1 year). Anyone go there before me?

Only been to Mont St Michel and Alice Springs. And Concorde cabin. Dad's been to Accession Island, but that probably doesn't count!

Think most places I've been to are pretty standard, my 3 possibly odd are:

Mullingar - Ireland (IYKYK)

Lake Jipe is a shadow of its former self sadly (I went there long ago), and most of it has dried up. A victim of climate change possibly. We went to Tsavo too, and stayed at Voi Lodge. I'm not bad at spotting birds but definitely not a twitcher.

@redblonde I've been to Umbagog multiple times, my aunt owns a hunting camp there

@Bideshi I've been to Hangzhou, I was only little though so don't remember it too well. I do remember the sweet and sour fish!!

We were only there for a few hours.😄 We were staying in Barbados and had a tour of the Grenadines on a catamaran. Definitely need a lottery win to stay there!
