Someone mentioned enjoying this thread so I thought I'd do another one. IIRC you had to post three places and other MNers said if they'd been there. If they hadn't, you won my undying respect.

No impossible places like the inside of a nuclear reactor this time. As small as a pub, as big as a country.

My DH went to Romania in the communist era as well but later on in the early 80s. He has also been to Syria.

I haven't had a BBQ there but I have been there.

I've been to Suomenlinna
I've been to the bell tower of York Minster and didn't enjoy the walk across the roof

That reminded me of the the Slieve League cliffs in Donegal which have a very scary road up to them (or did when we went)

I have as well before performing at the Schools' Prom a couple of times
