But he was a criminal. And taking drugs. Not exactly a choir boy.

Did he still have the rolex on or not, someone asking.

Did you miss that this is an online forum where you can talk about things like the news? What an odd comment.

Do an advanced search on them (I haven't, they just seem to be on every thread I choose to read)!

HowDidJudithSurvive · 15/07/2024 13:50

I hope it will make some of the conspiracy theorists think twice in future.

The most obvious answer is usually the answer.

davegrohll · 15/07/2024 13:50

It's saying a body believed to be jay has been found in the masca area and it looks like he suffered an accident/fall

Isn't it crazy how they can search and search the same area but miss the bodies. Same with Nicola too

CandiedPrincess · 15/07/2024 13:51

Nah still something not right. Found the body near where he was last pinged? Seriously? The whole place is corrupt, the civil guard will be in on this.

And here we gooooo...

Mammma91 · 15/07/2024 13:52

Very sad outcome. I really feel for his family and friends. I hope they can grieve in peace without any further trolls on social media. A young life lost too soon.

Ughhh
Disgusting.

Megifer · 15/07/2024 13:54

Ahhh this is sad, he was a kid on his first holiday and had people around him who werent looking out for him generally, no wonder he had a bit of a questionable past (as did the lad who was attacked by the gang Jay was with).

To think they must have been so close if they were looking near where his phones last location was. His poor Dad he seemed like the only genuine one.

BobbyBiscuits · 15/07/2024 13:55

@Billyballyboo I'd hardly call a teenager using recreational drugs at a music festival either abnormal or morally bankrupt.

CandiedPrincess · 15/07/2024 13:55

PossumintheHouse · 15/07/2024 13:52

And here we gooooo...

LOL

I'm allowed to comment. It's not a conspiracy theory, no need to adjust my tin foil hat. Anyone who knows Tenerife, knows. Surely impossible to miss a body in the last bloody place he was known to be.

Willmafrockfit · 15/07/2024 13:55

they have found a body.
closure at least

PossumintheHouse · 15/07/2024 13:55

BobbyBiscuits · 15/07/2024 13:45

I could not understand the mad conspiracies around it. Look at Michael Mosely. Same situation, got lost in the heat and collapsed. But the poor lads life was disected like he was some arch criminal or something.
At least they will have closure. So sad.

You can't compare the two. Jay was a melting pot of gossip for the mad conspiracy crew - a machete-wielding criminal party boy, possibly involved with drugs and the Tenerife underworld, accused of stealing a 12k Rolex. His history and the events in Tenerife were all ripe for the picking. Next stage for the grief vultures will be to evolve their conspiracy theories.

Idealidealist · 15/07/2024 13:56

davegrohll · 15/07/2024 13:16

Oh go away with your predictable comments. Yes I am sharing news on a website that discusses current news etc. shocking

But it's headline news on the BBC, radio, etc.

Why do you need to add to that? What do you want from your thread?

I'm sure anyone who listens to radio, watches TV or accesses newspapers online has heard about it.

Lifeomars · 15/07/2024 13:56

Zonder · 15/07/2024 13:30

Puts an end to all the conspiracy theories hopefully.

They will all be moving on to the Trump assassination attempt

It's really not if he fell down somewhere and was in a spot that was well hidden

CandiedPrincess · 15/07/2024 13:57

Adding, I actually don't buy into all the wild Tiktok conspiracy theories but it doesn't mean I'm not allowed to smell a rat.

BobbyBiscuits · 15/07/2024 13:57

@Goatblower why not? One is posh the other working class? They are two men who passed away when getting lost in a hot unfamiliar country.

@Billyballyboo I'd hardly call a teenager using recreational drugs at a music festival either abnormal or morally bankrupt.

He was convicted and sentenced for a violent machete attack on a boy with special needs. That's morally bankrupt.

Ah fair enough. And yes, they'll probably never be able to work that one out.

davegrohll · 15/07/2024 13:59

@Billyballyboo so many rumours, the lad didn't have special needs and he wasn't a law abiding citizen himself. He also called for jay to be found and to show respect for jays family

I would call a teenager with a conviction for cracking someone’s head open with a machete morally bankrupt though…
