Do you have the first clue how hard it is to shoot someone in the head from a distance? Real life isn't tv. Trump's ear was clipped. Whoever shot him was an experienced marksman (or woman).

I think Trump’s popularity will surge as tonight, for better or worse, he has shown himself to be virtually unshakable and the photos will become iconic. People will respect him for his ‘bravery’ even if they have doubts about his views

Who says he is 'clearly suffering from dementia'? Unless the Democrats are lying (which is a possibility) theyve said he's been tested and had no signs of dementia. There's no question at all though that he's incompetent, which is probably due to old age, and the fact that his team are medicating him to keep him awake and focused.

I agree. I hate Trump with a passion, he is an awful man but I don't want to see him hurt or killed. My first thought was I'm glad he's ok.

There’s no mocking of dementia sufferers here at all. Biden’s supposed dementia has not been confirmed and he has not been pulled out of the presidential race on medical grounds due to it. He can’t string a sentence together, that is the truth, regardless of what the reason to why that is. I’m not going to skip around the truth incase it hurts someone’s feelings.

If someone is running to be the president of a country after already being in office for four years (and clearly struggling for the four years) then they don’t gain respect from me for continuing to stand again- it’s breathtakingly selfish.

Biden and his team have a lot to answer for in terms of this campaign, but that’s irrelevant to this subject. Someone has died, potentially another has died and people are injured. At least I’m not clapping like a seal over that, unlike yourself.

Whoever he was, the shooter was a terrible shot. And the shots sound a lot louder on better footage so maybe it was a shotgun after all and a piece of shot caught his ear.

I think normally people wouldn't mock someone with dementia.- but he's the president of the US, and will probably be standing to be the president again. It's a bit different. The fact that he's still President when clearly not mentally capable is the most insane part.

The vast majority of Americans would be scared by gun shots aimed at them hence the screaming etc in the video or the numerous videos you see of people in America fleeing from a shooter.
