The more I look at it, the more I think the shooter was attempting a JFK style assassination. Trump is extremely lucky to be alive.

And another is in a serious condition. I think if Trump hadn't turned his head in the millisecond before the shot hit, he'd have been more seriously injured or dead.

@PoopingAllTheWay the only footage I have seen shows people ducking behind Trump & I have family in America and they would definitely react to gunfire. But pointless arguing as you say so agree to disagree.

A more reasonable response is that they didn’t move because of the freeze reaction when the sympathetic nervous system kicks in.

To say gunfire is a “normal” occurrence for them is wrong

if you watch closely in slow motion, Trump moves his head at the very last second. If he hadn't, he'd now be dead.

This will make him even more popular and his reaction will be to many heroic just what many in the US love

A .22 isn’t a small gun. I’m no expert on guns so no idea why everyone is saying this when it’s pretty basic stuff. I have shot them. It’s typically used in long range rifles; loads of uses from target, to hunting, to short range snipering and killing people.

That’s ridiculous. I’m American. I live in a city that has had two shootings in the past month. My family was in the vicinity. It was terrifying. One still hasn’t recovered and she was blocks away. We aren’t accustomed to this. No one I know is used to it, and we are very familiar with guns.
