Oh I am so sorry! My DS has CRPS in his left foot (in addition to all his other problems) - doesn't take medication for it because he feels that is a hiding to nowhere as he's only 21, but the prospect of living with it is so, so hard. You have mu absolute sympathy.

@MrTiddlesTheCat sorry if I’m intruding here but I always suggest this to anyone with early osteoporosis as I’m a fellow sufferer - have you had your Calcium and parathyroid hormone levels checked? The cause of mine was benign primary hyper para thyroidism.

Yes I have and everything is within normal range. Although vitamin D is at the lower end. I've started on some high calcium/vit D meds and then in September I have to have an intravenous medicine.

Oh MrTiddles that sounds horrendous. The initial injury is bad enough but CRPS is the pits. And that's before the medication that makes you feel shitter and the now osteoporosis.
