My ginger boy isn't, his mouth pain hasn't resolved and is ramping up again so back to the vet Monday for a check under sedation.

Zonder · 13/07/2024 17:22

Sorry to hear that @pointythings

Piggywaspushed · 13/07/2024 18:19

Awww, hope kitty is OK!

I have managed to extract tax from one of mine.

Well, I'm already more impressed by Labour's response to the prison crisis than the Tories previous efforts

Sentences for serious violent offences of four years or more and sex offences will be automatically excluded from the change, as will the early release of offenders in prison for domestic abuse connected crimes, including stalking and choking.

Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood, with Governor Sarah Bott, during a visit to HMP Bedford in Harpur, Bedfordshire, ahead of announcing plans to address prison overcrowding amid fears jails will run out of space within weeks.

Thousands of prisoners to be released early to ease overcrowding

Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood warns of a "total breakdown of law and order" unless action is taken.

Saw some pictures of the Johnson's at the wedding, how does he manage to wear such creased clothes.

Despite Sunak's slogan during the GE, it is clear that Labour did have a plan. In fact, lots of plans.

He looks like he slept in a skip.

prettybird · 13/07/2024 19:55

Labour does commendably appear to have hit the ground running. Flowers

Is the pic of him in traditional
clothing genuine ? The one Larry the Cat tweeted ?

prettybird · 13/07/2024 20:14

I think they were all wearing traditional dress - at least, all the sleb photos (including the Blairs) I saw when I went looking for a photo of him.

I did also find a slobbish one of him with Carrie wearing the lovely traditional dress and him wearing a messy suit, shirt half out and tie askew - with the caption "Boris and Carrie looking fabulous" Confused

It looks like it is real as it was the dress code.

There is also one with his kids where he is a wearing a disheveled suit

DuncinToffee · 13/07/2024 20:16

Haha, yes those are the ones I have seen prettybird

Evenstar · 13/07/2024 20:22

Every day I am grateful that he is no longer Prime Minister and embarrassed 😳 that he ever was

Not that I was responsible for it!!

It's giving me Shrek vibes if I'm honest:

Very Shrek like. I’d be beyond embarrassed if my bloke thought it was OK to look like that.

So true.

medianewbie · 13/07/2024 20:48

I'm no oil painting but I do think people should at least be tidy & brushed. To think BJ used to represent us on the world stage ... I'd much rather have KS, who I can't imagine showing 'us' up.

Maybe they meant Boris, and Carrie looking fabulous.

prettybird · 13/07/2024 20:55

Indeed, I think there was a missing comma

prettybird · 13/07/2024 21:13

....one of the occasions the Oxford seems mired in suitable than the Harvard or Boston one comma would be appropriate Wink

prettybird · 13/07/2024 22:21

"more" suitable, not "mired in" suitable Blush. Only just noticed the autocarrot Blush

Notonthestairs · 13/07/2024 22:27

EXCLUSIVE @Telegraph: Liz Truss has blamed the scale of the Conservatives’ general election defeat on a decision by Rishi Sunak to “trash my record”

Ummmmm. Grin

Zonder · 13/07/2024 22:29

Ah yes of course. That's the reason it all fell apart for Rishi.
