On a serious note, a reminder not to leave any valuables in the car. So many break ins in my area!

A hoodie, a woolly hat, a pair of gold strappy sandals, a toilet roll and if they looked under the boot floor in the ‘secret’ compartment, a tennis racket.

Last time they broke in to mine, they took all my CDs out of the glove box......

and left them on the seat !!

I love my car - it's my home from home.

Loads, but nothing irreplaceable or expensive.

i have lots of practical stuff in the boot ,like water, snacks, blankets, first aid stuff, torch, comfortable shoes, old coat. Book, changes of clothes, old towels (incase of needing to lie on the ground (had to to get enough pressure on wheel nuts to get tyre off, to locate the towing bit etc etc) to wrap any hurt animals etc.

plus a couple of bags of stuff for the charity shop.

a few off cuts of flooring/tiles so I have them when shopping for other household stuff.

until yesterday a few items to be retuned to the hospital.

plus god knows what else I've forgotten, but if you're caught short I'm bound to be able to help you out!!

2 upscaled Lego coffee mugs in the cup holder. Several walking sticks, a wheelchair, a Zimmer frame and a bagful of accessories for a Ninja multi cooker.

I often have a lot more than this in the car as we live in a flat with not much storage space.

Safe to say, I am not car proud...

Someone got into our car one night to rummage about - I'd forgotten to lock it. When they put their hands down the side /door pockets they found loads of old banana skins. I know because they left them on the seat. Still makes me laugh to imagine the disgust and disappointment of the would be thief.

If they went in right now they'd find empty wrappers and a load of stuff destined for the charity shop and the tip. (Old books & toys) Absolutely nothing but rubbish in our cars. It's possible there's some chocolate that DH stashed in there which has melted/ hardened / melted on repeat.

Our car is waiting to be fixed at the mo- it’s going to cost over two grand. It’s also quite messy. It’s less than ten years old and looks decent from the outside so I would laugh my ass off if someone tried to rob it right now😅😅😅

Besides the wheel locking nuts and manual, not a lot I think.
